Nice catch, Tacks...That brown is colored up like a wild fish, but the worn down tail suggests " stockie"....

It's one of the two year olds they stock but it is pretty. Nothing holds over in this particular stream it's a stagnant warm bath all summer

These are getting stuff with herbs, butter and salt. I will cook them on the grill wrap in foil. I can’t wait to hear how Chef’s trout turned out in his air fryer
