Congrats Biz !
we’re camping , so we are heading into town later for dinner  and to watch the Cards . The joint closes at 10:00….
Cards should have it locked up by then .
We’re in Letchworth so I’ll have to dodge the deer coming back , but perhaps bumper killed deer count ?

Bring your repel gear in case FSW gets a buck at the bottom!

I didn’t know he was a animal rights activist nut job…… but that’s all right , I married one. As far as slowing down the game , that’s all right with me too. The only one of the 4 major sports that doesn’t have a game clock. But they will ruin the game  if they implement the minor league rules….. imo.

The three batters per pitcher rule is a gift to all of us

I kinda like the extra inning rule though. Makes it exciting. Might be a DH in the NL next year eliminating any kind of strategy from the manager. Times they are a changing.

Id like it better if the Yankees didnt always send three guys up trying to hit a two run homer. They did win a few of them late with small ball though. I love the DH. IMO the Cards should have pinch hit for Wainright the other night, I think it was in the 5th with a runner on?

The Cards had scoring chances especially when Scherzer didn’t have his A game going. Way too many 3-2 counts.

How about those Red Sox? Wow. Sale gives up 5 runs and only pitches 1 inning. Houck keeps alive and we end up with 20 hits, 14 runs and MLB record By having 5 guys with 3 or more hits tonight.

We stole a road game and Eovaldi game 3 Sunday.

Anything is possible!

You think you have nightmares ? Try being a lifelong Mets fan.

Imagine that and your dad being from the Bronx and a lifelong Yanks fan. I always bought him Yanks world series stuff in the 90s after they won the series. I remember one year he was dead series and asked me not to buy him anymore world series stuff because he had to many sweaters.

Yeah as a mets fan born in 85 I don't have that problem.

On a side note my travel baseball team went to a Yankees game and sat in the section next to the bleacher creatures I believe it was 1998. They were playing the twins I was 13 but I wore my Mets hat, in a later inning the guys from the bleachers started screaming obscenities at a then 13 year old kid. I waved my hat at them, they threw beer at me from 50 yards away, security came up to me and told me to remove my hat or I would be asked to leave!

That's a true story of Yankee stadium in the 90s. We live in a different world now.

2002-2005 was epic at Yankees Stadium for Sox/Yanks games. I usually wore a “Johnny is my homeboy” t shirt which was Damon looking like Jesus. So many fights in the bars before the games, during the games, bars after the games, etc.

The extra inning rule of putting a runner on 2nd base won't take place in the playoffs or World Series . The 3 batters rule for a reliever will still stay in place unless it's the end of their inning .

JD Martinez made the roster. Can his ankle hold up enough to DH and hit a few homers? Sox in 4!

Sox in 4!

Fenway is rocking!

0-0 game in 3rd inning and Rays brought in Ace who started game 1 and Sox tagged him for 6 runs all with 2 outs.

One Rays hitter had an 18 pitch at bat earlier in game.

Congrats on Boston Biz.... I'll admit I thought NY or Boston had no shot of beating Tampa

Our local kid Ian Anderson had a great outing with Atlanta  I'll be pulling for them.  Anybody but Houston in the AL..

On the nightmare  try being a rangers fan , we were one strike away a few years ago. Been down hill ever since.
