How old?

One and a half versus 2 1/2 or is it 2 1/2 versus 3 1/2?  What do you think?

That one on the right is big body already.  By fall should be a brick House.  Looks like more than a 2 1/2.

Look like possible good 1.5 year old and a 2.5 year old to me need better photo for better guess.  Remember 1/4 in each side of antler is velvet so. Will be much thinner than they look

I dont see any 3.5yr in there, usually they have more mass compared to what I am seeing but then again every area is different.

If that deer is 2.5 then he's extremely well fed.  Antlers don't indicate much to me, but body weight does.  In my area that would have to be at least a 3.5yo, but deer do vary from area to area based on habitat.

My guess would be 1.1 and 2.1

hard to say for multiple reasons. overall proportions covered by a lot of vegetation. also it's the off season. a buck can look like a 2.5 yr old now but come mid November he looks like the Hulk. even chest depth and where the neck connects can be deceiving now. as GMan posted velvet bucks look really heavy antlered too but not so much with hard antler.

4 years ago I had one on cam that looked massive with bases during velvet. Hard antler he was a bit skinnier hard antlered.
