Turkey Killer ?

I have noticed a decline in turkey sign and sightings this year. How much of an impact do bobcats have on a turkey population ?

Lots of predators in my hunting area. I'm getting yotes on my cams several times a day. Gotten a few fox and last year had several fisher pics.  Still lots of turkey around.

Bobcats are a efficient predator. Turkey are targeted.. fortunately there is a season to trap and hunt them

Yup, I had a picture of 4 turkeys 2 mins before each of these pics days apart.

Predators are way up because trapping is way down.  Fur prices have been destroyed and trapping has been regulated to infinity.

I think crows are some of the worst. They're great at spotting nesting hens. Coons are up there too.

While prices are horrible ,surprisingly,NY has some decent laws compared to many other states .Seems like every year another state goes on the ban list .New Mexico was last year ,can’t trap NM Unless you’re native Indian.The same will follow for more states imo in the future .

Same with my cams; every pull over two-three weeks (with 4 cams) will show fisher, fox, coon, opossum and coyote by the truck load and still the turkey are plentiful.  Seems the bobcat are camera shy as I don't see them as often but each year I'll get a a few videos over the course of the year.
