Guys a lot of kids were killed,who cares what gun was used?

There is the reason. Brown its down is what you do not like. Honestly, when you have to drive up 2-6 hours and spend $80-100 in gas and tolls and have to make it back home late sunday night to work Monday am in the city, as long as it is legal within antler restrictions as well, if its Brown its down is right. If the brown its down guys lived near the woods, I'm sure you will see a change in the way they hunt and be more selective. Many of us just do not have that luxury and I hope you understand that. Now, as for crazy guys, I agree on both ends. You know, there are two sides to the story, and I have seen many crazy city guys as well as many crazy local guys. Both sides have em. Lets join up together as the good guys regardless of where we may be living and regardless of what we aim to shoot, horns or no horns

I have been hunting very hard all season with not much luck. Hunted yesterday afternoon in 40 mph winds and didnt see any deer at all. I was gonna call it quits until i checked my cam and saw that there were still some nice bucks coming by my stand. I decided to give it one last try today and i was rewarded with a nice 7 point long island buck. Not my biggest but i am sure happy to tag him on the last day of the season. I was by myself but u have some better pics ony video cam that i will upload later.

I was at the Dicks Store in Webster today . Talked to my friend at the hunting lodge . He said that they were having a difficult time getting 223 ammo in and as soon as it arrives , it gets bought up . He told me that they had to limit how many boxes a person could buy so that a couple purchases wouldn't be a sell out and deprive others from buying any . He said one guy that wanted to buy a lot asked to see the manager and the manager told the guy you can buy the limit of 6 boxes or leave and buy it elsewhere . Some people are greedy and hoarding ammo .

its just not the 223 or the 5.56 or ak or a ar rifle they are after.....you ever see what a 17hmr or even a 22 can do at close range to a animal.....they dont care what caliber or weapon is banned as long as it gets done. and once it does the domino affect willl happen... next it will be who needs a 338 or who needs a 300mag.... .... and the last time time i checked this was amerca land of the free . not land of the controlled....everytime a gun debate starts up in congress a shooting happends some where to support there agenda....And if anybody believes what the news says they are plain crazy cuz guess what the govermant controls them to....scary times my friends.... from what i heard they are trying to ban clip fed rifles to not just semi auto... whats next muskets only .

I seen on the discovery channel last night they have confirmed that the Sasquatch ate all the mountain lions in NY and have since moved back to Ohio. So I guess we dont have either one of them anymore. LMAO

Ditto on the H20...My Mom often used milk rather than water.She claimed that the milk made the meatballs more tender, and water made them more firm. My Dad used to complain that Mom's meatballs were TOO tender.. I use the water. I think it also helps dissolve and distribute the seasonings.

You know what drives me nuts? When people try to distract from what actualy happened for no good reason like this thread and the others where it has come up. There is absolutely no denying that lt Vance and the med examiner said what guns were used, what ever the goal was with these type of thread is far beyond me. It is indisputable fact what they have said and that is all there is to go on at this time. And then when the facts are displayed they are disputed with nothing to back any of the claims up. The fact that some of you guys can't understand that the AR was used is what is going to hurt gun owners, stop wasting time and energy coming up with conspiracy theories and face the facts. You look like a bunch of fools at what will be the most important time for us gun owners in our life times. Move on and get ready for what is to come.

It's not about people giving up their guns. Two government officials brought this idea forward as a response to the latest tragedy. The police and elected county sheriff are sponsoring. The media will be there, and the slant will most likely be not good for those who understand what the 2nd amendment maintains. Another voice should be present to at least try and get a fair unbiased report. It's either complain to each other or form rapports with the event organizers, attendees, and the media to achieve gaining some professional points. This is the way it works. Probably someday, those that did nothing now, will remembers those that did, later. At least it can't be said that we didn't try to do something.

Sadly that is the type of people that infest journalism today. They didn't even wait for the bodies to get cold before they started their anti-gun campaign. No respect for the innocent victims of that madman. Almost every article written about the tragedy focused on the alleged firearm. They are truly the lowest of the low.

Because the press incorrectly calls AR's, "assault weapons", and the president calls them "weapons of war",and the general public thinks they are machine guns. It makes for a much more sensational story. I can guarantee none of you remember the mass murder of 87 people killed in NYC. The murder weapon was not that "hollywood" so it didn't get noticed that 87 people were killed by the actions of a single man.

The press took it upon themselves to put the AR in his hands,He went in the school with 2 handguns.I read this in the paper.I feel just to sell papers the media put the AR in his hands.

I add the onions..garlic and finely diced peppers....but I bake them in the oven on a foil lined cookie sheet at 350 for 20mins...that way they brown evenly

My understanding was two semi auto pistols. The rifle was found in his car.
