  2. Fienstine has no clue what she is even talking about in that video. Assault weapons are made to be held at the hip, and to spray fire???? Assault weapons are sold out of the trunks of cars and at gun shows with no questions asked??? Nothing but another fear mongering dishonest politician. When her looks go she will have nothing to fall back on.

  3. The dec has clearly stated that ar plays no role in benefiting their plan from a biologocal perspective. If a majority wants it, why are there 1.5s being taken. Surely they are not practicing what they preach.

  5. fifieldseednfeed.com or wingsupply with the thanks10 code for discount...cheapest places I know if right now. The 13 CB have SMS functions where you can control some features via text. While I find it pretty neat, I haven't been able to justify it over the cost savings of the 12 model.

  10. Everything Greybeard says is true, and that is why it's called the "Legal System" and not the "JUSTICE System". It's all legal, but there is no Justice! Jury Nullification of any prosecutions under this law is our best hope if it isn't overturned in the courts.

  11. I bowhunt with recurves - the bows that started our bowseason. However unless the bowseason is to be limited to traditional equipment (which I don't support) then all archery equipment should be included. And an 80% (Concept archery has one up to 99%) plus let off bow so short it can only be shot with a TRIGGER with a lighted fiber optic sight (possibly magnified) is far closer to a crossbow then a recurve. 2 Seasons - ALL archery equipment in 1. ALL guns in the other.

  13. Wooly, when you have battery issues like that, turn the cam on in a closet and let it sit for 5 min. Then take one of your digital point and shoot cams and turn that baby on. Walk into ths room and have the cam pointed at the array. You will see the array fire on the screen of the digital camera. Chances are the array is sticking on after it fires the first time, killing batteries.

  14. Why pass 1.5 only to target 2.5?'s Still killing immature bucks and that's what ar would do in central/western NY.

  15. Actually, it is. Under a little known (And very forcefully politically hushed in places like NY and California where the State is king) doctrine called nullification. Municipalities refusing to enforce a law in great enough number will render the law invalid, and thus nullified. Jury nullification works in the same way. But it has been ruled that the representatives of the State have no responsibility to tell you as a juror about jury nullification, and since he Prosecution doesn't have to tell you, the defense is sort of de facto prevented from informing the jury. Just another case of the state looking out for itself. However, in Jury nullification, juries are to be the arbiters of fact and law, not just fact. Jurors can -- AND HAVE -- nullified unjust laws in the United States, and in many countries which use the common law system. So, remember that next time you're on a jury. YOU ARE THE FINAL ARBITER OF FACT AND THE LAW. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jury_nullification This is our last best hope in getting these idiotic laws recently passed overturned or just outright thrown out/retracted. Towns/municipalities refusing to enforce them. Or in the case where the State picks up the prosecution, juries refuse to find the defendant guilty, regardless of the amount of evidence against them. We as citizens of the United States have a CONSTITUTIONAL DUTY to disobey unjust laws. "When injustice becomes law, rebellion becomes duty" -- author unknown " “A little rebellion now and then... is a medicine necessary for the sound health of government.” -- See Avatar

  16. Due to the NRA's decision to boycott the show I have changed my position as a life member and will not be attending the show as well. Also after seeing Reed's reluctance to change their position taking into account the opinions and concerns by an overwhelming portion of attendees and vendors I also have reservation about whether or not this was really just a business decision by Reed for the good of the show. I now believe that my original remarks and opinions were wrong... and understand that Reed's position is a blatant disregard for the 2nd Amendment.

  17. So, I'm a new guy to this forum and this will be my first time posting/replying. Oh, wait a minute, I still need to check on all the rules for posting, but I imagine that I can't use the words I want in order to comment. Well, I guess you all get my drift. I'll be off now, to write to my representative, hopefully in a calm proffessional manner with words of more than 4 letters

  19. I do not have any ill will towards any vendor participating in the show. They paid their exhibitor fees and rely heavily on these shows to get them through the year. It is not their fault that Reed has decided to be a politically correct pussy. It's a shame they even have to deal with this nonsense. I'm real glad Cabela's stuck it to Reed. I think they were one of the main sponsors of the show. I will go to the Cabela's in Hamburg instead of the show. Everything I want is at that store anyway. If you've never been to a Cabela's, make the trip. It's worth it. I just bought more of their stock the other day. The fourth quarter and this quarter are going to be monster revenues for them with all the anti-gun fever driving sales of firearms and ammo through the roof.

  20. Sorry for bringing up an old thread guys...but I just came acroos the post when I was doing some DeerSearch Googling. I am a member of Deer Search Finger Lakes Chapter. First, I apologize to the hunter that called and did not get an immeadiate response. I am willing to bet that someone followed up with a phone call within a few days after your shot. We do try to call everyone back. Most Deer Search members are working full-time and trying to hunt and track for other hunters in their free time. We are always looking for new members...and especially in Onandaga County. Secondly, I would like to share a photo to help some hunters better understand the location of a deer's spine. I saw the still shot that this hunter posted and I would guess that buck survived. These are not my photos, but were emailed to me for refrence and educational purpose. Take notice how low the spine is...now add the hide and hair to that! The straw is where the arrow passed through. Here is what a shot from a tree stand may look like if it hits too high. So, there you go. Hope it helps someone in the future. Speaking of help; anyone interested in becoming a member of Deer Search please go here... http://deersearch.org/joining-deer-search/ Thanks.

  22. Super fishing on Black Lake over the years, Indian River, and Butterfield, Red, Clear, lakes. Also, tons of fish on Chippewa Bay. I still want to know about snowshoe hares and rabbits though. I'll hang onto my land down here and come back for deer hunting I guess, even if I move north.
