I do not have a youth to take this coming weekend, so making the offer here on these items. I also must state that if this is breaking any of the new laws, I need to retract the ammo offer. I bought some Remington Premier Magnum Copper Plated 3" 12 Gauge No 5. turkey loads because I couldn't find my standby Winchester Supreme loads. Needless to say, I found the Supreme after the fact. The Remingtons are good mid-grade loads. I shot three out of the Remington box, but since I have the load I want, I have no need for the Remingtons. I will be glad to give these loads to a youngster (with parent/guardian approval/accompanied). If the youngster also needs a pot call, I can provide one or two as I have a few I won't use (Primos or HS Strut glass and synthetic mostly). Will need to meet face to face with the parent, etc. as I don't want to get into shipping it. Just throwing it out there.3 points

So now we have two threads going on the same topic. Doesn't anyone ever read the existing threads before they start a new one?2 points

not that I need to explain to you but since you invoked the ASS-U-ME clause.. I have served every time I've been ask...My daughter turns 30 just once in either of our lives...I lost my mother to cancer when I was 12yrs old...and never had a chance to celebrate lifes mile stones with her...I'll be dipped if I'm going to miss out with my daughter...Because some twit didn't want to follow the laws or some Cop /DA wanted to be an a-hole...What ever the case they can find another person in this case and call me another time...or perhaps track down some of the ppl around our area that refuse to register to vote ...just to avoid being called.... By the way Lawd's is right ....but he also should realize how much I'd like to get a good case to make a decision on...last time I was foreman ..and it didn't turn out for the sheriffs to well.... G-man...Told Mr B that I was just going to tell them that my bladder is the size of a pea...and there is no wait a moment....lol1 point

I'll be taking my daughter out. We went out shooting yesterday, did some scouting and checking trailcams, and had the neighbor tell us some promising info about sightings. He told us they've been gobbling behind his house and that we could go try there, if we wanted to. My daughter heard the scoop from the neighbor too, so that got her excited! She said she doesn't care how big of a gobbler she gets.... as long as it's bigger than the one her brother got (jake) a couple years ago! I plan on going out every morning at daylight this week to listen and figure out where we might have the best chance for next weekend. I have a few pop-up blind locations picked out already. Crossing my fingers!!1 point

Special Thanks to the Rochester Community who helped support our Banquet last night. From the donors, to the guests you all made it a huge success. Thanks Mike1 point

They make hunters look like slobs with little respect. That one guy that hunted from the peoples porch was very rude and disrespectful to the land owners.1 point

Joe- not to take anything away from sky's trail cam pics(he does an awesome job with them), but I believe he crops a lot of his shots. Get yourself a cam capable of taking some quality resolution pics and learn how to use a simple photo editing process. Tweak the sharpness, contrast, brightness, and colors.., then crop your shots into a nice composition and voila, you got yourself some better than average straight outta the camera pics! Of course you'll need a good quality pic to begin with, so you'll want to keep the direction of the light in mind when setting up your cams so the sun is behind it, shining on your target critter. Some production cams don't handle the highlights of water well when exposed to the sun. I think that's where the homebrews shine!1 point

can't help but wonder how effective our jury system is when the majority of the people don't want to be there.....it's such an inconvenience,1 point

Hey, it's a tough job but somebody has to do it ..... lol. Before I retired, we used to be able to set our own hours at work. Great arrangement because I could get a lot of work done in a relaxed atmosphere that was very easy to concentrate in. There was quite a bit of overlap time where I could interface with those that I had to. And then there was the great personal benefits. Being a hunter, I used these shifted hours to get out in early afternoon and get in a nice long evening hunt .... every hunting day. It worked out pretty good when hunting ended too because I would avoid all kinds of traffic, and still have a lot of daylight hours in the afternoon to get outdoor work done. I've always been active outdoors and daylight hours were always important ...... and for the same reason, they still are. So anyway, I used to get up around 3:30 am and get into work about 4:30. I did that to one extent or another for the last 4 decades, and I just never broke the habit. I'm not a night person .... lol.1 point

A little bit too "low-brow" for some I guess. But I got enough chuckles out of it to warrent another week of watching. I can almost look at this stuff like from the outside. It's not any style of hunting that I will ever do or ever want to do. So I see it as pure entertainment without anybody trying to fool me into thinking I should take it seriously. I gave up on expecting the TV to be a tool of education a long time ago .... lol. But as for those that didn't care for it, try not to get so crazy-irritated over it ..... relax ..... it's not a program that is going to change any part of your life or anybody else's life either. One of the reasons that we have the ability to change channels is so that we don't have to watch things that we don't want to.1 point

I want to buy some more land in cattaraugus county, but it would cost me a fortune just to keep paying the taxes on this recreational land. Ny is horrible. Anybody else sick of it?1 point

No matter what , the show is still more entertaining than watching Jackie Bushwacker on Buckmasters or any of the guys on the other canned hunts .1 point

They already have been attacked for other hunting related shows like Swamp People, etc. They wont cave if the show makes them money.1 point
