Happy Birthday Fast Eddie ! Have A Great One !

I agree with you that the Hornady 12ga 300gr SST and the 20ga 250gr SST sabot slugs work great . Extremely accurate with great expansion and a nice exit hole every time. Shot at least 15 deer with the SST shotgun sabots and all had great blood trails . Most didn't go 30 yards before collapsing. I did have one go 250 yards before it died because I only hit one lung. But I had a blood trail a blind man could follow. I have not used any of the Hornady SST muzzle loader projectiles except the 240gr XTP with the green sleeve. I shot 3 deer with this round and all with the same result . Devastating wound channels with big exit holes. One looked like a golf ball blew out of the deer's side and the other 2 had exit holes the size of a silver dollar. This bullet loads well and is deadly accurate.

Last nights dinner Baked pork ribs with honey bbq sauce and corn on the cobb boiled in Turkey Feathers magic potion of a cup of milk , 2 tablespoons of organic honey , and 2 slices of jalapeno pepper. I can honestly say the corn was delicious ! It tasted sweet with the hint of honey , and just the right amount of flavor added by the jalapeno . Didn't even bother to butter it . Didn't need it. Thanks TF !

And Here We Go ! FYI , I did call the Maine Dept Of Tourism and warn them about the impending shortage of shramp and lobstah about to happen in Northern Maine . They said they would get right on it and are sending emergency supplies to fill the void of excessive upcoming demand upon your arrival.

DT , I dont know what company the gun is being shipped with , but you can have the gun shipped to one of their Access Points near where you live. The package does not have to be delivered to your house . Both UPS and Fedex has access points all over the place. Convenient stores , pharmacies , Walmart has a Fedex pickup and shipping service. I use those access points all the time . Especially at Christmas time , but also for when Im going to be away , or for anything thats important that needs to be a accounted for. When my packages get delivered to the access point , I just go there , show my ID , sign for it and pick it up. You could actually have it sent to your local friendly gun shop if you wanted to.

That would be torture if I could only have one gun ! I would pick my Browning Bar 30-06 Carbine. -
I know a couple guys that bought the CVA Wolf online . They had no issues . One got the stainless and the other the black version. They sighted them in and are happy with them . I have never had any issues with the powder pellets and prefer them over loose powder including the BH 209. I have used both the Winchester 209 black powder primers and the Winchester shotgun primers. They work the same with no issues . Never had a misfire with either one and accuracy is the same. Because you brought them up , I will mention the CCI Magnum primers . You dont need those . The only propellant that absolutely needs those is BH209 which needs a flame thrower to ignite it. As far a WhiteHots I have never used them. But I have seen many posts on a few forums about them. Hardly any were good . Most didn't like them. I also use Power Belts . In my 2 50 cal TC Encores. They are deadly accurate . I have one sighted in using the 295 grain and the other for the 245 grain . My sighting in consists of firing one shot out of each gun at a 2 inch Splatterburst target at 90 yards. Bulls eye every time inside the once inch inner part of the target . But I do want to give you some advice on which one to use from mine and a bunch of my friends that have used them for years. Do not use the copper Aerotip Power Belts . They dont expand like they should . Do yourself a favor and use the copper hollow point . Night and day difference. It does 10 times the damage and blows right through a deer . We almost stopped using Power Belts because of the small skimpy blood trails. We also thought the hollow point version was the same bullet as the aerotip without the plastic tip. But its not. That hollow point opens up a convincing wound channel for great blood trails. I also find that the aerotips and the hollow points fly the same . No difference in sighting in . So if you bought the aerotips already , use them to sight in. But get the hollow points to hunt with . If you cant find the hollow points which are harder to find , I have 4 packs and would send you a 15 pack .

WHAT A FREAKIN MESS ! LOL Just kidding ! It looks great ! The boards and the color you stained them definitely adds character to the structure. I added the little guy above just to replicate how many time you probably whacked your head with the boards sliding up between the trusses. LOL

Vaccination
SportsmanNH replied to johnplav's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Making another post because I didn't add the link to the studies and trials already performed or are still in process . Now some of you guys in the medical field would be able to decipher what the charts show better than me , a real estate developer and builder. But if I'm not mistaken , these charts from 63 studies show a strong benefit to Covid patients both preventing Covid and curing patients that have advanced sickness. https://ivmmeta.com/ -
Vaccination
SportsmanNH replied to johnplav's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
But the prescription version of this drug was not animal meds. Its been given millions of times to save peoples lives in Africa and South America. And the human version that was administered to those that fought to have their loved ones get it in these court cases is batting 1000 . In the charts in that article I believe it showed that it saved 86 percent of the patients that were deathly sick and on the verge of dying. But you are right. You need the clinical trials to test the waters before diving in . But it sure would be a plus if it was proven not to be just plain coincidence . -
That looks terrific VH ! Was the Axis roast a little tough compared to a Whitetail ?

I believe you know there is an actual human prescription of Ivermectin , right ? This happened in NY and these families fought and won in NY Supreme Court to have their loved ones that were dying on ventilators get doses of it. They were dying and it saved their lives. https://www.thedesertreview.com/opinion/letters_to_editor/ivermectin-wins-in-court-again-for-human-rights/article_98d26958-a13a-11eb-a698-37c06f632875.html -

I have a better question Chef . What does it say about the Democrat party for voting for this brainless incoherent weakling incompetent fruitcake we have now for President and his cabinet of some of the dumbest assholes on earth that should all resign immediately . Especially WOKE Blinken. He is not WOKE. He is asleep at the wheel like Biden. They probably share a bunk bed room down in the White House basement. -

Actually Lawd its an operating slaughterhouse , meat processing and packaging plant with 25 employees. They are not coolers. They are refrigerator rooms with a motorized track with hooks . Quite the operation. He probably processes 800-1000 deer a year. There is a skinning room where the carcass is skinned and labeled with a different colored tag depending how long ago the deer was shot and what condition the deer is in and a processing sheet on how you want the deer cut up.The deer is then put on a hook and sent down the track into the coolers . I have seen them turn deer away that were hanging in someones back yard in the sun in hot weather for days before bringing it in. The deer was already spoiled and smelled and they refused to run it through their machines. At any given time during the season there will be 100-150 deer hanging in those rooms at a time. The deer operation is on top of the cows, pigs , sheep that are being processed in other parts of the building.

Neck roast is the only roast I have the butcher make for me. And it is so tender and superb tasting. The rest of the meat I have it cut to chops , steaks, backstraps , Italian sweet sausage, some garlic and cheese sausage, and hamburger. I used to cut up my own deer. Now I just have the slaughter house do it. It actually tastes better to me. Much more tender. He hangs all deer in a temp controlled cooler for 7-8 days and actually likes to hang fresh harvested ( shot that day or the day before ) for close to 10 days. I have everything vacuum packed and that makes a huge difference also in longevity of freshness .
