I use the same one, works good enough. Just wish the glue would work better, I always loose one on a shaft in the cold weather, I did about 10 and I think I am down to one. I might just try to add the one missing fletching instead of doing all 3 next time. I never seem to get it perfect as one fletching is always closer than the space between the other 2. Still have a few dozen Datourch arrows for hunting but might switch over to hex this season as Datourch is discontinued.

Do that again and I will break your legs.

I think the biggest advantage is that you can use a tree that a climber would not work in. Biggest complaint seems to be the presser on the legs when sitting. I would like to try one to see how quick set up in the dark would be and how it feels, personally I like a solid platform to shoot from and sit on. I have fallen asleep a few times in stands due to such high comfort, I do not see this as the same comfort but would love to test them out. I think one of my Suffolk Archers members and a member here (ATBuckhunter) wants to get one so I will test his out later in the year. My fear of heights will probably prevent me from hanging by a rope.

Wow is right! That bear on the right is a brute but the world record is a monster! Amazing! What a drag that must have been! Could picture friends showing up to help thinking "we need backup!" 355 Da Torch/Hex 400 at 7.2 gpi. Relatively light but at 65lbs and 28.5 it penetrates good enough for what I am doing. Deer and 3D.

We had our first shoot of the year at Suffolk Archers. Started off with 2 5's on the first stake and knew I was done for the day, we are now allowed range finders on the course, shot a 268. Need to work on my form! My friend shot a great shoot with only one 8 on a turkey and another shooter also hit the 298 out of 300 score not sure who shot more X's which determines the winner. Fun day with great weather!

Mathews MQ1 in 2001 then the Helium in 2011 and the Elite Ritual a couple years ago. Love the let-off, valley has a bit of a high point otherwise great shooting bow.

Did a little pre-winter league shoot prep at Suffolk Archers Sunday. Had a toy from one of my old Happy meals we tried to take out at 80 yards. Was a bit hard to see it at that distance on a gray backstop and none of us hit it at 80 yards so we lowered it down to 60 yards. No one hit on the first try, myself and Hector had a near hit just under the belly and touching but no impact. 3rd set of 3 arrows, my first arrow hit the mark with a head shot! Most of us shot ok but no one shot really good. Holding my form good but need to keep my follow through! My arrows have the green and white knocks, Hector is red. That transformer is dead! Next will be Darth Vader at 80 yards again! He should be easier to see as he is black and we have a white target but! Looking forward to the winter shoot and food most of all!

Do you know what he weighed and his measurement at the base of the antler, circumference (H1)? Real nice buck! G-Man I remember that buck seems like yesterday! Same year I got my first ADK buck. Amazing buck and history!!! Remember seeing your picture everywhere!

I have only seen them one time chasing a deer with 3 or 4 in the group otherwise I usually only see singles.

We are the ones over populating and due to our expansion and globalism we have caused havoc on our planet. Quick google search shows how we have cause animal populations to decrease and vanish in some cases where we where not even trying to remove them, our expansion was enough to remove the habitat and food source for them to survive. https://onekindplanet.org/top-10/top-10-worlds-most-endangered-animals/ Animals threatened by humans. Elephant, whales and fish have all felt our wrath and suffered population declines. Many are endangered. Eastern Elk! Pretty much every top predator except ones not on land. Bears, tigers, most big cats, simply put anything that may compete with us for food in any location with a big population of people can decrease and kill habitat they need to survive and if that does not do it we will usually remove them after a few incidents where people get hurt or killed. We use traps, guns then when all that fails poison. Many animal populations are being decimated in Florida due to us bringing in pythons. Including but not limited to birds, cats, dogs, reptiles, deer and birds. We are the biggest issue on the planet and as our population grows our habitat and animals will be removed. The larger the animal usually the more it will suffer when our population expands even more so if it is a predator. This is why we have been put under control by what we call REGULATIONS, and the main reason deer are so prevalent and wolves are not.

Yes they do much damage but do not kill, if they did we would have removed them long ago. Are they winning yes, they reproduce like rabbits, lucky for us they do not hunt animals. Did I say they where loosing in my post above? They are an issue but not as much to wildlife as they are to live stock and farmers.

If pigs where able to kill people and livestock they would be removed all ready like the wolves!
