  1. I hope it wasn't this guy! I've been watching him for 3 years now. He was hit by a car (I assume) as when i first saw him he was limping bad, broken front right leg/shoulder. He still limps when he walks by the camera. https://huntingny.com/forums/topic/60924-7-bucks-still-adorned-with-bone/?tab=comments#comment-859112 I'm not sure this will post the pic I was hoping? But there is a pic of the buck in this thread. See the 2nd pic posted on Feb 10. Sorry my computer skills are limited. LOL
  2. Good luck Rattler! I would love to do the same. We spend several weeks a year in Pa and love it! Some of the best motorcycle roads around.
  3. Thanks for all the comments, I'm in no hurry so i will probably look around check out Cabelas, Wally world etc. I heard that because of the pandemic they are hard to find? Same as bicycles. I have a few friends that have several kayaks so I plan to hit them up for a few outings and see what they have and what i would like in a kayak. I do expect that I would like to get at least a 10 ft or 12 ft. just for the room and stability. The canoe sounds good also as most of the time my wife would probably be going with me and they definitely have more room.
  4. Went out yesterday for the first time. It was fun so now I'm thinking I'd love to get one. I don't know much about them but I think I'd like to do some fishing with one. Any pointers will be appreciated.
  5. You could use osb but if it starts to get wet it will deteriorate quickly. I would use 1/2" (nominal size) plywood. it will hold up better if it gets wet. and it will hold the paint better. just be sure to coat all the seams and cuts well as that is where the water will get in and start the delamination. JMHO.
  6. Fletch, I'm curious how the Landyaeger seasoning turns out. That's one of the sausages I miss most since my German hunting friend passed. He always had landyaegers made from a German butcher, they were great. I tried my hand at it with seasonings from the Sausage maker but never turned out the same.
  7. That and the guys who ride their 4 wheelers all over. We also had a ladder stand taken.
  8. No, I recently went to check on my cameras(I had 3 out) only to find 2 of them are gone. Dam bastids! And the 1 I pulled had dead batteries since 5-20-20.
  9. I believe that it takes 4 members to make it official, same as any GTG!
  10. Did the Academy move to Thursdays? That might be a problem for me as hockey started back up on Thursdays.
  11. I'm feeling a little left out? Did my invitation get lost in the mail?
  12. Glad we /you got this figured out. Not to derail the thread but I wonder how many on this site are lefties? I too am a lefty! That probably explains a lot!
  13. Good looking remodel Moog! You did remember to install the smoke and co detectors I'm sure. Glad I retired so I don't have to pull out the code enforcement card!
  14. Sorry to hear this, I pray for her peace and strength for you and your family during this time.
  15. It's gone, ok to lock up this thread. Good luck with it @Cory Hope it serves you well.
  16. Beat me to it! I was just going to post the same thing!
  17. Ha ha! When you said turkey was coming over i thought you meant someone else! i just saw a gobbler on Kensington by Phillips Bros last thursday. They are surviving around here, before you know it they will be waking us up early with tree gobbles!
  18. I have a nice clean but smaller refrigerator free for the taking. It's a Hotpoint 14.6 cu ft measures 28" wide 61" high 28" deep. Runs great would make a good backup fridge or beer fridge. In Amherst near Main St and Kensington Ave. PM me if interested.
  19. Nice rig Larry! I'd love to get a trailer and hit the road for the year! Only problem is I would want a toy hauler so I can take the motorcycles and I would need a much bigger truck. My little Tacoma won't pull that much weight. Good luck and enjoy you trips! Can't wait to see some pics from the Grand Canyon?
  20. Happy Birthday @johnplav , Hope you have a great day!!
  21. Happy Birthday Guys! Hope you both have a great day!
  22. Where were you driving in the first video? It looks like a nice motorcycle cruising road. Thanks for sharing, nice cars and good job on the videos.
  23. Thanks, I already sent in the request for the service, and now waiting for the shipping label/email. I will ship the binos asap. Wish me luck!
