  1. I have to agree, one nut dropped a little to far.
  2. On couch sipping some coffee, off soon to sons final basebal game for the year.
  3. I have 41 acres, but its the right 41 acres. Has everything one would want for hunting i.e..water (stream runs year round), food plots, apple trees, hard mast, pine trees, flat land, hillsides, ridges, deep ditches, sanctuary etc...the key is to get the right property, not necessarily the largest property. Id rather have the right 40 acres as opposed to a mediocre 400 acres.
  4. On his hindquarters looks like part of his stomach or something is hanging out? He looks sickly.
  5. Lucky bastard...lol...have fun and kill a big one!!!!
  6. And lets not forget Moogs mere size, that should be an offense in itself. A deer looking up in a tree and see him there would die of a heart attack. Lol...im being silly now, its been a long day...i sure do wish i was up in a tree instead of this damn train.
  7. Now that would be nasty, but hey desperate times call for desperate measures. Go for it!!!
  8. That sucks but sure beats sitting in my office.
  9. I work in Mgt. for a major medical/pension union in NYC. Get free medical and dental , pension and 401k, close to 50 paid days off a year, off on the weekends, their flexible if i need to leave early on any given day as long as i make up the time ( which comes in very handy to get to my kids games during the week). With any office job you get the office politics you have to contend with, but its not bad. As others have mentioned, you spend more time at work then you do with your family, so get into something you will like.
  10. Ill be out the following week, good luck!!! Im taking this weekend off to watch one of my boys finish off his last fall travel baseball game.
  11. If that ravine feeds into those fields, i would setup on a high point that leads into that field.
  12. I shoot mine a couple times a year, then before the opener just to check its zeroed in. Outside of that we shoot 22's, 22 hornet throughout the year.
  13. The word "mature" can be used however when people try to use horns alone to determine maturity, it does not work. In my area (central NY), i can use horns as a base to determine maturity because i have hunted this area for many moons, along with that you need to look at body characteristics. In my area, you shoot a 3 1/2 year old deer, your doing good (body size and horns on a 3 1/2 yr.old are substantially larger then the typical 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 yr.olds).
  14. Aint that the truth. Now that i think about it, thats pretty much the reason for my existence...lol
  15. What are we suppose to see other then that house and blow up halloween thingy?
  16. Thanks anyways, leftys are great for baseball but not so much to find a youth bow....lol
  17. Is it a righty or lefty, both my boys 9 and 13 are both leftys and already shoot entry level recurves. Would like to step up the 13 year old to a real bow. Let me know. A great deed, will make some kid very happy. That's an awesome gesture.
  18. Congrats, forget the arrow wheres pic. of the doe.
  19. Good luck boys and have fun!!!
