  1. Nah, hes from orange county NY...could be a honeyhole in CT or NJ..lol
  2. Now that i re-read the original post, i can say with certainty that i have never gotten trail cam photos of deer eating fertilizer in my new plots. Come clean man, what are they really eating?
  3. I was going to mention that i have never got deer on my cam to eat pelletized lime and the lime in the picture seems very light colored? The pelletized lime i use would never show on my night cam photos, its greyish brown in color.
  4. Old school mets fan here!!!! What a game last night, even though they lost what a comeback. They were loosing 10 to 0, then came back to loose 10 to 8.
  5. Whats up with the washed out looking pictures?
  6. Gotta want to quit, i did it for my family and my health. Be strong, keep telling yourself why your quitting and dont look back. You gotta hate it with a passion to quit, if that makes any sense. Gotta make those cigs your worst enemy. Its a mind game, thats all it is.
  7. 15 years for me and dont miss it one bit. Used a friends car last week that smokes and it smelled like an ashtray, nasty.. Be strong Rob, just keep telling yourself its for your best interest/health to quit. I quit cold turkey approx. 15 years ago the day after i buried a good friend of the family who was a heavy smoker and died from cancer.
  8. Thats fish, like i said it might be awesome but i just cant imagine canning meat. Trust me i will eat anything thats not tied down, just might have to try some one day
  9. Never seen canned venison or meat for that matter and for all i know it might be awesome, but something about canning meat just dont sit right with me.
  10. Love my Marlin 35 remington has tremendous knock down power, light weight and very compact.
  11. I draw my bow straight out or slightly up and if the angle of my shot is below my treestand i will bend at the waist. Bending or not bending in relation to your intended target (deer) has many variables, stand height, targets distance from tree, slope of land..etc..
  12. Haha, hey working in an office in mgt. gotta keep the beard well trimmed. No i dont do curtains, but from the looks of your posts the curtains maybe more up your alley.
  13. Starting to grow a beard in now. I will grow it and shave it threw out the year. I usually grow it in this time of year and then keep it thru the end of winter, keeping it nicely shaped.
  14. Unfortunately most times with plots that small any sizeable deer population will destroy them before they can get established. Invest is some dozer work, get a 1/2 acre opened up.
  15. So sad and yes that is very young to die for a cat. My cat loves to eat those balloon nylon strings and eats any small wires (phone charger wires) that are left around. Unfortunately maybe your cat ingested something? Thats tough on the kids.
  16. Be sure to let me know your exact location when you shoot your next deer so that i can witness it first hand, if not, it didnt happen and you wont get a congrats from me....lol...jeez talk about a pot stirrer.
  17. Bow, crossbow, 30-06, 35 rem., 300 mag and muzzle loader.
  18. Did anyone even bother looking up this guy, from all his videos and my knowledge of Tim Wells is that he is a phenomenal instinctive shot. He didnt take that 130 yard shot with the hopes of missing, he knew he could make the shot. What were the odds he could have made either of those shots in the video it we didnt see the video for ourselves, most would say slim to none, but he made not one but both shots. Do you call that luck or skill?
  19. I have 2 stands i want to use both srands butt up against my new food plots and sanctuary. I'm hoping to tag a doe, need some meat or a nice buck.
