  1. I am heavily left eye dominant and right handed. for wing shooting with shotgun I use a static dot on my glasses to force the right eye to see so I can leave both eyes open. with rifle or any scope shooting it is only right eye open. I can shoot tactical pistol pretty well as close distances with both eyes open but it seems I actually am lining up the sights with my left eye and holding right handed.
  2. Except for the fact that their was no formal sovereign nation or laws that kept the settlers/explorers out. About like when the first migration of people into North America took place. I guess only the Mammoths would have been some of the only legal residents.
  3. Head shots. got ya. Have you ever missed while taking that head shot?
  4. Have you ever done it or personally witnessed an arrow hit deer? two of the deer I have have taken with an arrow were both eating. I shot them and they jumped and went back to eating. after a minute or two they both laid down and curled up like they were tired. how many times have you cut yourself shaving and not even knew you did it until you saw the blood? Labeling it as cruel with no experience with it seems like a page out of the Anti's play book.
  5. Edit---Ever been out on Ontario? if not i would suggest motion sickness meds. Seen several trips ruined by waves on Ontario. Trolling will be the order of the day for Salmon. Keep hydrated
  6. I am voting for Supreme Court justices, hoping the Exec. Orders do get pulled back and beyond that hoping for total gridlock in DC.
  7. To me this isn't a breed issue. While some breed have been "designed" for specific characteristics, there are good and bad in each breed. I am more of a supporter of dealing with the problems. to me if a dog bites or attacks it goes down. no questions. 5 pounds or 200. I won't own a biter.
  8. The same thought ran through my mind and mentioned it to my wife. She brought up a good point. a bystander that reacted and grabbed the kid as he was going through the barriers, probably would have been at least detained and maybe charges. I see more and more bystanders unwilling to get involved in anything becasue of personal liability. And as a side note and not directed to your comment Elmo, Darwin probably would have had a few comments about what efforts should have been made to save the kid.
  9. That is the way it is supposed to be. I get the "why would you need another one" comment a lot. When I refer to the quantity of their shoes and the number of times they really wear them, the "discussion" goes down hill quickly...lol
  10. Thank you all for the birthday wishes. Was hoping for a new pistol but got new dress shoes...lol. The joys of having a wife and a daughter....
  11. Oh I wish. 51 years. Thank you everyone for the wishes. I appreciate them.
  12. It'll go higher than the guy had it sighted for as well if you are using heavier bullets and make sure only that first pad of your finger is on the trigger Like Larry said. Get on the bags and get it dialed in. then practice your shooting and form.
  13. I know two buddies that have 3 screws and opted to NOT have the modification done because of fear of decreased resale/value. They simply only carry it with 5 in when hunting and the cocking of the hammer will line it up on a live round.
  14. I did. Posted it on facebook a while back...lol.
  15. Are you using the one lone court ruling as a basis for that statement? I thought that ruling did not affect the entire state becasue of jurisdiction.
  16. i just read that Takata is making a big push to resurrect their image. They hired Tom Brady to be their new spokesman becasue he never over inflates.
  17. I've seen it a lot when the fawns are first starting to follow mom around and they come to road crossings. the fawns really hesitate at the pavement edge. Must not like the slickness of a newly felt surface. That usually leaves mom standing in between the lines waiting. Not a good place to hang out.
  18. Grow, If I wasn't ridign it and on tires that small I would probably have opted for solids.
  19. Remington 700 BDL in .30-06. Topped with a 3-9 Vortex.
