  1. My brother in law lives over in Burdet which is pretty close to Hector....you would've tracked me down!
  2. I have no experience but just have to say all I saw was mushrooms this weekend everywhere in the woods. Some were so cool looking I should of taken a picture.
  3. Put up a new stand, Muddy skybox 20' ladder stand. It is awesome! Moved a shooting box to a new location. Found some bear scat and the telephone pole is torn up must be a male? Few shots of a double rainbow when I pulled up. It was a great 5 days.
  4. Guys I ended up putting the new Muddy Skybox inside the bedding area. I wish I took a picture but it looks real good. Going to leave the original stand for gun season. I really like the skybox easy to put together and I love the full platform and leg rest. Thanks for all the input hopefully it works out.
  5. The power lines right of way on the property are loaded on the edges with them. I always catch a bear or two during the day time in there!
  6. Last I saw them they were at camp. I'll look when Im up. They are yours if I find them.
  7. I have the full set! Just dont have a VCR anymore! Great videos.
  8. Yes mine would be just about 30 yards in.
  9. I'll try to make this a simple question. My stand is called the honey hole, a lot of nice deer have been killed down there. It sits up against a huge thick bedding area. The other side is brush and open hardwoods. Some of the biggest deer(140+) I have seen are just out of my bow range 40 yards or so. They cross behind me into the thick bedding area limiting me with shots just too far. Now this stand is real entertaining because you can see a hell of distance from it. You see all kind of game and tons of deer. He is the question......I bought a new stand and was thinking about placing it up in the thick stuff where those bucks travel. If they come in they will be close because you can't see very far. I'm afraid to push into this area but know I have to get closer. What would you do?
  10. Mine in 8P also. My kids love it there. They were 4 and 8 when it was built. Now at 14 and 18 they can do mostly everything that needs to be done up there!
  11. https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/31/us/3d-guns-downloaded-plans-states/index.html At this point if you could print a gun and use it against your neighbor do you think the government should step in in and halt the distribution?
  12. Could you be close to a den? If so those young ones will run around with all kinds of stuff and take a lot of selfies! lol
  13. When you say I gave up on my Soy bean plot did you mean it wasn't growing but when you came back it had taken hold?
  14. My two cams that are 7 years old still take good picts. If I had them here though I would do the same deal an upgrade.
  15. I shop at dicks and FnS. I would never buy a gun there. It is usually just hunting stuff. Not enough for me to get my feathers ruffled!
  16. Medium none none none in 8P. I will get one as a land owner but hope the other guys as well.
  17. Nice machine but I ask the same question? Jim Shockey has tracks for a reason! lol
  18. Totally get it. Just be careful if this kid is as bad as you say he could be trouble. To him you look greedy so if you ask for permission you may have to deal with this kid screwing around with ya, maybe not but be careful.
  19. To me it will look like you are greedy and don't give hoot about that kid. It's a good way to loose the privileges you have now. I would try to get to know the kid first and become friends if that is possible and see how it plays out. Give it some time and stick to the spot you have permission to hunt. GL
  20. Just got back from the cabin. Everything looked good and the place was in order. Got the mowers and trail mower going, fixed a couple of things then took it easy. My neighbor got a new Woods brushhog and he brought it over. He did all my trails for me which needed it bad. So greatful to have such a great friend so close. Checked the cams. Had a lot of good looking doe and fawns but just one buck. That is a bit disappointing. This was from early may to July 16. Did get one bear a real closeup of him and he pissed with the camera. Here are a few nice shots and one crazy one that looks like ET! BTW there is so much corn planted this year its crazy.
  21. Just got back from the cabin and I find this on one of my cameras!!!!! Too funny! looks like ET!
