  1. Sorry Greg give it time and your loss will heel.
  2. Yeah the season ends mid December. We get to go out on the Island the month of January with shotgun. You realize how great it is when your in those woods. Most headgear is gone but it doesn't matter. We went out twice season ends today.
  3. Thank goodness his boyfriend was there. Yeah prayers do work and I hope he has a smooth followup with the doctors. Very happy for him and your family.
  4. Happy birthday Jordan! Haven't seen you in a while???
  5. Pretty tough to do. I just walked 7 miles yesterday out east hunting and everything hurts. Younger yes as you learn to make things easier for yourself when old age sets in. BTW I love that show.
  6. The three of us managed to see only 2 deer today. No shots so no misses!!! lol Was about 45 degrees and the ticks were out. I had about 20 of them on my pants. Found 1 on my leg when I went to shower. Hopefully that is it. At the check in station there was a nice doe aged at 6.5 years.
  7. There is a roast down there some place! Chili sauce and sriracha. It is so good!
  8. Helped my Nephew track a deer. Good guy!
  9. I think 16 is a pretty good age to be able to hunt alone. I would like to see 12 supervised for 4 years and you have to have 4 years of supervision before you get to hunt alone. Mother or Father have to sign off that the kid was in the field. This is for big game.
  10. Headed out with the same group tomorrow. Hopefully we will shot a bit better...lol. Looks to be a great day!
  11. My dad had it done at 75. Nurses couldn't believe how quickly he got back on his feet. Yes it was swollen for a month but the more he did the better it felt.
  12. I like it! https://www.cnn.com/2018/01/27/politics/epa-alaska-salmon-fishery/index.html
  13. Awesome! We go out to Riverhead on the Island for some good Polish food.
  14. Great show...that whitetail scene was filmed on my farm! lol
  15. Now my brother did most of the missing. Later in the day he noticed his scope was loose! excuses excuses.....
  16. We pulled up at 8:15 and there were a lot of guys there. But this late in the season there was nobody going out on reserved time. So there were so many spots open. 8:30 walk in get to pick spots.
  17. Didn't see another hunter. We took two big spots so that's probably why.
  18. Got together with my brother and a friend to hunt out east on Long Island. It was a great day we walked 7.5 miles and saw 15 deer. We had a couple of shots but nothing connected. I jumped some real nice deer. I believe one was a real nice shed buck, he was big and had the body of a buck but no head gear. It was a great day out there and so many deer. We were in spot 41 and 42 on rt 51.
  19. For years we hunted a woodlot owned by Cotton Hanlon. When they started leasing we didn't know about it and the property got locked up for a number of years. I talked to Bob and made sure my name was on the list to lease this property. It actually is adjacent to my brother in laws property. Well to my surprise it came available yesterday so we are back in business. It's 75 acres of Larch, Pines and Hard woods. Shot some of my biggest deer years ago right there. Just about 50 minutes from my camp! Happy hunting!
  20. Hell we be hunting with kids at the age of twelve for years….bout time the state caught up! lol as long as it is supervised let's do it.
  21. When my brother in laws goats were born it was super cold out. First thing to freeze off were the ears.
