  1. George Carlin called this years ago, you’ll enjoy this . Wegmans said the number of plastic bags that come In 1 tractor trailer load, it would take 7 trailers to bring the same number of paper bags .
  2. Sweet ! The one I won is a Wise Arms as well , 300 Blackout . I’m throwing on an dot optic and Magpul back up iron sights , ordered some speed loaders that work through the ejection port and 500 rounds of hardball and 100 of more serious stuff . Showed a pic to two RPD officer friends today the first thing they said was get rid of that stupid mag lock .... Mine may take the place of my short barreled Benelli in the front closet .
  3. Nomad

    Beer

Amber Ale , very good .
  4. My fix is simple . Take a screen shot of the pic, post that ,it will be correct orientation.
  5. Being polite and honest is key, two, things that just come natural to me , I should give lessons really .
  6. Mixed bag, with so many of these stickers on cars today ,along with thin blue line ones . Just make sure it’s from a real local source ,many scammers out there . With today’s climate towards police some may appreciate the gesture, but they all know most just do it because they think it helps on traffic stops . I always give to the one I get from my town cops, but it’s from their Union, the actual Sheriff , Police dept doesn’t solicit money . I always put my Union Local # on the form ,to,let them know we support them , never put the sticker on though .
  7. Their opinion of you will be very much influenced,by wether or not you have bread . Cant believe everyone missed that ....
  8. As George Carlin said, “ it’s a big club, and you ain’t in it .”
  9. Welcome to the 60 club ....
  10. These are from March 17th , I’m feeling somewhat better at my poor results so far .
  11. Yep it’s in the “ green zone “ a very narrow zone in the center . I got one while in Fla one inch from side wall, planned on getting four new tires as I want to upgrade what’s on the Outback anyways . Guy at the tire shop said he could plug it , and no charge because he’s not supposed to just plug them anyways . Holding good , 80-85 most of the way home . This is the time of the year for nails and screws , as all the contractors pick ups are lining the roads ,and dropping them out the back of the truck as they come and go .
  12. You owe NYS. I researched that years ago , along with forming an llc
  13. I don’t care how the picture looks , as long as I’m in it !
  14. Ha , I find my Colorado, to have great mirrors , and really good visibility when I turn my head to look to the side . The Outback I feel has bad blind spots .
  15. Just pulled the sales receipt and booklet , I bought my Weber 4 years ago,$399 assembled and delivered. Can’t compare it to,older ones as ive never owned one prior , but so far so good and warranty seems good .
  16. Just checked with the “ house ,store guy “ ( buys the stuff firehouse needs) our last Webber was 14 years old ,when he replaced it . That’s 14 years of pretty hard use too .
  17. My Weber Spirt is I’d guess at least five years old, used all year long, still as good as ever, and the same size as the OP’s old one , under $500 . But the true test is the Weber at my past firehouse , piped right to natural gas line, used 5-10 times a week, with minimal cleaning or maintenance. It’s wasnt unusual to come in for a day shift and find it on from the night before, as someone left it on to burn off gunk . I believe the last one went 15 years, that was replaced a few years back .
  18. I’ll admit I have a gas Webber at home , but in Fla we used a charcoal Webber . I'll be getting one for home now, charcoal burned down fast , and food came out great,I’d say better then at home ,with little time difference.
  19. I was thinking ash myself ,but I really suck at id’ing trees . I did have about 50 ash in my yard , cut down about half and treating the rest . Ash show signs of ash borer on the bark which I didn’t see here . It takes awhile for them to die ,it’s pretty noticeable with missing or light colored bark, you’ll still have leaves ,till they die . There’s tons of dieing or dead ash in my neighborhood , totally dead ones still standing after a few years . ill take some pics tomorrow.
  20. You must shoot some monsters, mine always fit on this or in a mini van . My bed is 5’2” plenty of room .
  21. Mid sized works for me ,but then I’ve only owned cars for 40 some years .
  22. That’s why I picked it off the board of guns ! Got plenty of hunting rifles . It has a fixed Ten round mag, to make it legal ,although I found some nice “ speed loaders “ for it , don’t have to break open action , feeds them through ejection port fast as you can slide your finger a couple inches .
  23. Out of likes..... turned 60 and looked forward to it , I believe the liquor store gives me a discount on Tuesday now !
  24. Well when your daughter comes home for your bday and says, let’s go shooting ,it doesn’t get much better ! Unless you add winning an AR the night before at Culver’s QDMA banquet ! She only gets back to shoot 2-3 times a year ,but keeps, them all center mass on an a man sized target . Planning on getting her private one on one lessons in the future too , and a new handgun .
