    Walked 100 yards into woods , no wind ! Moved to another stand pretty calm here, otherwise I’d a left

    Worst day weather wise, five deer so far ....This button kept watching its back trail .... Its due to my strict scent control of Irish Spring and cat puke .

    Good luck Brad, I’m off to my spot for the day as well . Now Wed my next all day sit looks like high winds, better get it done today . Although today’s afternoon spot, is only good the last maybe hour .so a long break in between sits .. Holy crap is the wind blowing here !!! I never would have drove down knowing .

    For our 30th anniversary. I bought a 1,988 proof quarter , ( proof coins are struck in a high polished die and packaged individualy for collectors) then had a jeweler turn it into this . For you young guys , it’s a fairly cheap and thoughtful gift,that every time she wears it folks will ask her about it . I need all I can get to offset the normal me ...... if she’s really lucky I’ll bring her a dead buck tonight as well .

    Wedding this afternoon , daughter coming home for late Bday tomorrow,which is also our 30th anniversary . I’ll be out in the afternoon though ! I’ve hunted or worked every other anniversary not stopping now. Getting sunny here, good luck fellas .

    I got up at 5:30 went back to bed at 6:00. All part of my hunt fewer but better days ,plan . I will be live from the woods tomorrow afternoon and all day Monday . Which means my spot has rested for about two weeks . So I probably won’t see a thing ....

    Four sunny side up, with the snot still runny, and two pieces of buttered white bread lightly toasted .

    The sun still rises at sets at approximately the same time , the deer don’t turn back their clocks . If you didn’t adjust your clocks or simply don’t look at them , nothing much changes for you .Be like the deer . One year I forgot to “ change “ my clock , the alarm went off at 5:30 , 4:30 for those who set their clocks back, we all still got to the hunting spot at the same “ time “ . Some thought they got up an hour earlier lol . If it bothers you psychologically don’t turn them back for the rest of the season , of course if you still work your boss may not care for it ..... The Mrs. calls it “Larry Time “.

    Still on the fence , unsure of wind at my spot ,plus I’ll be out all week starting tomorrow afternoon . Back to bed ,light rain and wind , ill be out every nice day from Sunday through gun .

    It’s not a law . Although some down state Econ officers seem to think so from what I read here in the past . I’ve had this discussion with Econ Officers I know ,where I hunt in reg 8 . No issue walking in/out loaded long gun in dark . Theres a reason why nobody can post a link to the “Law” .
