    I stopped after a few questions , took to long to load one question at a time . Im sure I’d have got them all correct though .

    Years ago a guy at work used to say , after the first two days of gun ,all the good bucks were bedded up tight to the houses .

    Last year when this came up, I Googled neighboring states, known deer hunting states in the Mid West, West and so on. I read the regs of 30 states , everyone was minus and plus one half hour . I stopped after 30 , not finding one other with hours like ours .

    Not needed if they cause a nuisance, which is about all of them .

    When our kids were young, my wife worked full time M-F, with my fireman’s schedule, I watched them when I was off m-f or on nights m-f . That left me weekends when I could hunt, except I worked half the weekends . I still managed to get deer . That seems so long ago it’s but a faded memory, now I got everyday off and have been out maybe 12 -15 hours . Good luck

    It only took me two,hours in line ,wasn’t that bad . JK I only waited in line for Shania Twain ,and Scotty from the real Star Trek , I had Scotty sign a book “ Beam me up Larry .” Shania just kept undressing me with her eyes, it was a bit creepy .

    Lol , ok you get something too, for making me laugh . Say can we go to that island you once mentioned where the fishing is good ,but really it’s overflowimg with hookers ? We’ll bring my hitmen to keep us safe and our own DR as well .

    Actually in my dreams of winning my thoughts were along the lines of who I gave what amount , and there’s two here I would buy houses for . If I cleared $500 million I’d probably give away around $100 million , charities ,relatives ,friends and of course political and Law enforcement contributions as I’m going to need to call in some favors when I get in trouble . Id really like my own team of hit men , far removed from me, but who I could summon to correct what I see as injustices ,and just folks that need to plain disappear.

    Not trying to be wise guy , but if you hunt mostly peak times ,wouldn’t then most of your kills be peak times ?

    I use my phone to post here a couple times on each sit . Other then that, never owned a range finder in 30 years of bow hunting , no cameras up this year, don’t FB , I washed my hunting clothes before the season and May again in a week or two, and gasp ! I just toss Em in the washer and drier half the time with normal clothes and soap ! Dont know about today but it used to be illegal to use radios and such to aid in talking of deer . With cell phones being common place that may have gone to the wayside .

    Couple of doe wandered by , behind me . The wind also stopped it was blowing pretty good off a field straight on to me . Good as the deer mostly move in front of this stand , but I was freezing .

    Im cold , tired and not seeing deer, and I’m not sure if I could draw bow anyways ..... Sure Hock is up to 37 deer and TF passed on 3 shooters so far this morning .

    About to head in , has to brake twice for deer on ride down , hope that’s a sign !

    Same as “ restrictions “ placed on permits, hunting, target only are just a judges administrative restriction. You were issued a NYS concealed carry permit, you break no law by carrying for other times then the “ restrictions .”

    I’m very much looking forward to Xbow season ! It’s a roll of the dice each day I’m on stand as too if I can even draw my compound , add in the rut and the nearby corn being cut by then ,it’s all I’m waiting for .

    Well I thought for sure I was going to win, that was a bit of a disappointment , guess I’ll have to go hunting ,if we’re going to make it through the winter .

    Good luck, I’m sitting the weekend out, next week looks very good weather wise . South wind towards the end will be nice for a couple unused stands .
