I have Fla. and Utah along with NY. Took the class from rochester personal defense. Easy one day class well run. Permits came in the mail in no time. Last I checked good for 38 states. Was nice to carry out of state and not worry about jail anymore......

I don't change my clocks in the fall for a couple weeks anyway. I always take a lot of time off work around then, so why change my clocks, the deer don't change theirs.

Registering for Confiscation
Nomad replied to nybuckboy's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Idk from what I've seen it sure does not take much to tie up multiple police depts. lets look at Webster, something I have personal knowledge of. One nut tied up wpd, ipd, nysp, mcso the boarder patrol, swat teams , armored vehicles, fd's from many towns, ambulances and helicopters. ONE nut. Calf. One ex cop tied up half a state for days. The cops were so jumpy they shot up a truck with two ladies in it. I ve been staged many times with rpd when they had a man with a gun in a house, the number of cops and swat tied up for hours is large, if they had 2 at once they 'd have to call in guys on OT lol. -
Great for finding dropped keys, found a lost ring for one guy.Had a few ask me to find dropped lost stuff.

Oh 30 plus years ago... Old coins and tools. Along RR tracks near my house, fields, old churches. I'd get one again sometime.

Possible GOOD news....
Nomad replied to WNYBuckHunter's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Possible is the key word here. This has been reported by one tv station in Utica. Calls to judges office gets a neither confirm nor deny. -
Kahrs are great guns. I just got my 9mm Shield two days ago. I ordered it in June.......Before all the new laws and run on guns and ammo.

Utah Conceal Carry Course in Utica/Syracuse real soon
Nomad replied to nybuckboy's topic in General Chit Chat
Ya I took both Utah and fla. I now have cww for those two states. I can now carry in 38 states because they honor those states permits. -
I'd let nature take its course.

It's not just ammo, it's cleaning kits, holsters, guns you name it. It's so many first time gun owners entering the market. Its guys waking up to whats happening,I have always kept a big supply of ammo on hand, why would'nt you? Who wants to run to the store every time they go shoot ? If the election of Obama twice, the shortages over the years (like 380 a couple years back ) The rising prices of ammo for years now or just having been a Boy Scout ( be prepared) Have not tought you to stock up, we'll I'm at a loss then. Bulk ammo.com has 223 in stock about 30 cases of 500 rounds and 30 of 1,000 rounds, I just sent for 500 rounds of 9mm jhp . Buy it cheap and stack it deep.

Beikirch's to make annoucement today
Nomad replied to Nomad's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I don't want to speak for them, the site says "new PA location". the person there who i spoke with ( and he would be THE one to know) did not come right and and say moving, just that he could then sell guns he can't sell here as well as something to do with the ammo background check. He did say, "so once a year you''ll have to drive to PA and buy a years worth at a time." Hum that could be moving.... i figured just no ammo sales up here...... I hope they don't move altogather . -
This is near me been watching the news stories. One lady was talking about," In light of what happen to the West webster firemen....." I lost it right there. I happen to live in webster, 1 of the FF shot also works on my City dept. My daughter knew on of the ones killed, I got 23 plus years on the job, I stood for hours in the cold and cried at the funerals lady. I don't give a f$% about squirrels, and don't use my dead brothers for YOUR cause . 90 % of us own guns, many the ones now banned ,and we are not turning anything in either. im going to look into going with a bunch of guys now

Ammo in your safe,really safe?
Nomad replied to Single_shot's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
never heard of laws about storing ammo in our homes, I have a few thousand rounds in mine. It needs it be in the chamber to "fire"laws of physics and all, equal and opposite reactions.... been in a few hundred house fires never had ammo fire or explode, could not care any less how much or how you store it -
IAFF Loc. 1071 here. OUR union always seems to endorse the Dems. BUT the rank and file seldom votes that way . Its that way with many unions, you only see the excutive board on the TV supporting the Dems.
