I apparently had Hep C never knew it and my immune system took care of it , not concerned about a cold . my family lives into the 90s and 100s, my one grandfather fathered a child at 80 ! And smoked filterless Camels ,with just one remaining lung well into his 80s . Im a marvel of modern medicine or cockroach either way you can’t kill me ! But when I do pass my body is going to the U of R , look for it in 30 or 40 years .

I’m only 62 y/o and a mere 5’9” but depending on how my back bends that particular day,my head may hit getting in the Subaru and the Colorado , I may need a convertible !

I think my hip, problems today can be traced to,our drives in the 90s . Sit till,9 drive till 3, then sit again . Thing Was the drives required walking miles often through plowed up muddy farm fields , pounds of mud on each boot ,and many times I’d stop to try and pull my foot free, which I’d feel in the hip,joint . Drives were way more fun then sitting in a tree , we knew where they’d run,the action was outstanding . My absolute favorite buck is a litlle 7 pt my 14 y/o daughter pushed out of ditch and I dropped on a full out run .

Man I love me some dumb deer, I always said i wanted to find deaf and blind ones ! Any buck in the rut is about the dumbest deer around , carrot top,here kept coming as Joe kept missing as the doe ran to Joe’s wide open stand , finally on shot number four ,as the buck came even closer and stopped he got it .

It’s so interesting, everyday I’m at the gym with 50-60 maskless people breathing heavy ,spotting each other , the Mrs who has two risk factors was at a few stores today maskless OMG ! We’ve been in jam packed bars ,where no one wears a mask ,basically haven’t changed a thing in our lives ,zeros issues . Daughter #2 is on the phone with Mrs Nomad right now her friend she hung out with yesterday just tested positive, what should she do ? We said come home for Christmas! We don’t give a rats ass . I’ve been in close contact with three people who shortly after “ tested positive “ like hours together and nothing . I guess that J&J shot I got in the spring is working lol . My main hunting coat is a hoodie style thing ,so it has that idk what you call it , that long front pocket open at both ends. So thin gloves and hands in there , no hand warmers needed . But I’m generally not hunting in real cold weather, or rain , high wind, days I don’t feel like getting up, if I’d get home to late to watch “ The Wheel “ .

I wonder if guys were in the woods everyday year round , if perhaps they’d see more deer during the season ,as it would be normal to the deer . Like at my daughters house where I’ve had to get out of the car and shoo them out of her drive way to,pull in . Here’s a guy running his dog off leash among I believe 8 deer, normal everyday behavior for these deer .

We had to pick all our furloughs for the year, in the November preceding it . By seniority with only a certain number of each rank off at a time , about the time I could get opening day, I got promoted and back to the bottom lol .

The state land South of me where Doc lives , you’d have two per acre lol. The road was lined with trucks and campers . My friend bought 60 acres next to,it , first opening day he tossed off 17 guys . Those are just the ones he caught .
