I’m not sure if I ever ate at one . There’s one about a mile from our home, go by it daily , a guy hit a home run at the Red Wings game in the 7th inning, which made our ticket stubs good for a free taco there. Never went , I’m sure it’s good , if I want tacos I just command Mrs Nomad to make some ! Hey it’s Tuesday isn’t it ….

That’s nice to hear , all the best moving forward , Larry.

I think it’s last owner messed the bow all up …..

Anyone who wants to kill squirrels, I sit out front most mornings drinking coffee about 8:30 -9:30 , and most evenings with a beer and sometimes a cigar around 6:00 . There’s to many squirrels to count , they love the giant hickory and bury nuts in my yard and the neighbors. Air rifle or slingshot only, I tried one of those primer only .22 shorts, but it was still a bit much , and the ground was to hard so my arrow skipped into the cops yard nextdoor .

Those Crocs need to be camo, The Official Leisure Footwear of the forum .

My daughters hospital had 20 ED nurses quit in one day ,awhile back , but that was to become travel nurses and make $100 an hour , by traveling an hour .
-
Wow, sorry to hear , my daughters hospital and others around here are given the option , guess I shouldn’t have gone just by that . But maybe the fact that hospital is already down 100s of nurses, and paying travel nurses crazy pay to fill in ,is a factor .

Most places are giving them the option of a weekly test or vaccine .

I can’t say 100% , but I’ve automatically got them each year .

My understanding is , in NYS you can buy one with no permit . You can not ever load it , or even have the components to load it without it being on your permit .

If the law was you can only own one gun what would it be ?

I’m in agreement . A thread about guns on a hunting forum, doesn’t require being posted in the political area , yet the same couple of guys ( who we all know will show up ) ruin it . Every. Damn . Time . It’s almost like they’re plants from PETA sent to sabotage the forum . Well the sil and I had an enjoyable time , shooting ARs, 9mm and a .22 rifle this morning , now I’m going to float in the pool . -
The DOJ said that misrepresenting the official seal of a U.S. agency, like the CDC logo on vaccine cards, could be a violation of federal law. Violators could face up to five years in prison or a $5,000 fine. Could be lol . This seems to apply to the makers of fake cards not the users . Like counterfeit currency, it’s the makers that go to jail , the guy passing the fake bill, simply has it confiscated. My legitimate card has some barley readable numbers and the address of a pharmacy, how in the wild world of sports , is some dope checking cards at say a football game going to know if it’s real of fake ? He just wants the line to keep moving . If I was making fake cards , I would change the CDC symbol with its super super small print to something else you can’t read . Center for Dessert Control perhaps .

Glock 19 . I just loaded 4 magazines for it , going shooting in the AM . My first thoughts were , AR , Shotgun ,for Rob’s reasons and the Glock . Picked the Glock , I need something portable and 16 rounds is nice too . -

6. [1] Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. [4] That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. ...

If you want you can borrow my pressure canner , and assorted tools to try out a batch . I can fit in 7 quarts at a time, about 2# of meat in each . Pints of course hold 1# . There’s a good supply of jars and lids available right now , last year they got hard to find . This is what I did a “prepper “ friend loaned me his , and sent me a very good instructional video .

We use mostly ground as well as backstraps, tenderloin, and some steaks . Now try pressure canning ! The steaks and roasts turn into delicious tender meat . If your freezer goes out ( or just the power ). No biggie canned venison will last up to three years . No need to thaw out ahead of time either . I did two quarts of year old frozen steaks awhile back, I was canning chicken and just decided do a couple quarts venison. Mrs Nomad made some stroganoff and we added the canned venison, we were blown away with how good it was . My plan this year is to can an entire deer, minus backstraps and tenderloins .

Lol. I dropped the ladder ,looked up and there was a bow hook , up,in the tree . I also had to cut the ratchet strap as it was to tight and rusted to loosen .

So I’ve forced entry into hundreds of buildings . As far as homes my advice is to reinforce your door jamb, as that’s what fails ALL. THE TIME . Replace that two inch strike plate with its half inch screws that go into a thin piece of pine , with a six inch plate that you mortise into the jamb and use four inch screws that will go into the 2x4 past the pine trim . you can also replace the hinge screws and also put a wrap around plate over the dead bolt to keep the door from splitting. Most doors a fat 12 y/o can kick in with ease . Add these and sleep in peace . https://nightlock.com/door-security-devices/residential/nightlock-original/

It’s an offering to the hunting Gods, without one I’d never get a deer ! Yesterday I swapped cards and moved one ladderstand . I put my Maui Jim sunglasses on my cap/ forehead , when I got to the truck no sunglasses . I figured I lost them between the truck and stand, so I back tracked ,and found them at the base of the tree I dropped the stand from . IDK they were $250 so that’s a pretty good offering , I may have got a B&C this year had I not found them !

One doesn’t just need , a “ lawyer “ but one who specializes in the exact field . I’ve gotten incorrect advice twice in my life from using one who, doesn’t practice in a specific area , just happily paid one $850 not to, proceed ,much farther then our initial consultation, after talking with one who specializes in the specific area . I was prior willing to pay him 10k ( what he said was ball park for the case .) Here I wouldn’t just want a criminal defense attorney, but one well versed in NYS law regarding self defense , and with plenty of trail experience.

Stay away from this one , it makes your skin all wrinkly !
