Nov 4th thru 12th. Unfortunately with my job I can't shut down and soley focus on hunting, my work phone will be in my pocket and I'll have to work periodically take care of things, I wish I could just shut down but not gonna happen.

Meat eaters is really good, I love that it's really about the whole experience and I really like hearing Steve's perspective and stories. Bowhunt or die is good as well, just a bunch of regular guys doing their thing. Growing deer I watch religiously and I'm not very religious. Great that they cover just about everything I like to do. As for other shows I have no idea I have no cable

Bow and gun hunting? For now I'd say really shrink the distance down to less than 20yrd shot with bow for his first attempt. Gun I'd say just understand what's down range and really understand your surroundings. Other than that's it trial and error.

So off topic but when u said China it made me think of a joke so here it goes...... There's a bunch of young girls having a slumber party and staying up late, they decide to play truth or dare. So one girl asks Chun Lee truth or dare and Chun Lee is kinda scared to say dare so she says truth, girl says what happened to Amy's dog, Chun Lee quickly says dare

Busted a doe by stand. I'm having a hoot up here watching my 9yr old thru my binos sitting in his makeshift tree stand with his binos and little bow, he was just pretending to shoot something with his bow, super fun watching him. Lucky his arrow wouldn't penetrate a piece cardboard.

Great, I have football practice sat morning, football dinner sat at 5 and our last game Sunday morning many Sunday afternoon I'll get out, thankful this is it and I can actually hunt.

I'd say 3 1/2, still has longer looking legs and neck doesn't mold over the brisket. Nailed the cam spot thought.

Son and I hit the double stand and saw 7 doe, had multiple shot opportunities but passed at this point. Checked cams and have a ton of pics with a couple decent new bucks and during shooting time.

I'm not sure how he even got his tool box up their, I give him lots of credit he's pretty dang smart and surprises me all the time. I just tell him what to be careful with and let him do his thing and live and learn.

My son put this together all in his own. Every free chance he's hunting out of it with his little bow. The other night he was out there and a fawn walked right by the tree, he said he was shaking so bad, gotta love it.

So I guess no luck on the hunt that night? I've had a few of those hunts where you think you got him nailed and no dice.

Mine have all been mornings or evening kills. I'll admit it's tough for me to sit still all day long with out going nuts. Last 2 yrs I've taking a buck before my nov week vacation and never had opportunity for all day sits.

Sorry don't mean to be a downer but it's gonna be a tough night regardless. Maybe line up deer search as well, they are pretty dang good.

Boy I had this happen a few years back. 9pt was 10-15yrds away slight quarter away, hit mid high, arrow hit back shoulder and didn't exit. Took a little bit to find first blood then good blood for another 100yrds or so then dried up. Long story short I had him on my t cam 9 days later with a patch of fur missing above shoulder. Good luck

I don't think a deer would eat them if it was the last thing on Earth. I bet I have 50 bw trees on my place. I quit picking them up my 3rd yr at our house, now I just now em over, sounds like a machine gun.
