lol... i'd think you'd get an automated phone call asking if you would like it credited to your account. something like that. probably costs more to print the check.

might want to save one. we'll see how my season goes and if you're willing.

I don't remember what they are because it doesn't leave the case often but my wife shoots Victory arrows. That help?

i've got a bunch of different ones im using and have tried. Right now i've got Goldtip Traditional Hunter 400 for trad bow hunting. then my 3D rig and back up bow is setup for Carbon Express Maxima BluRZ 250 (0.400" spine) shafts with full helical blazer veins. then my primary hunting bow (PSE Evo) i'm shooting Bloodsport Hunter 300 shafts with factory blazers. i have other arrows around too from other setups i've gotten rid of, like some Hexx arrows.

an older gentleman that i consider a friend of mine has an older bow. i think it's also a Mathews. he's updated some accessories since and has obviously upgraded strings. he shares the same mind set and it works. he's taken over 50 deer with the same bow and aluminum arrows i believe.

shove balled up paper bag in it. seems to work accept for hard rains.

nice. looks like you've got a batchelor group on the property. we never seem to have those. our place is a doe magnet and fawn factory with all the hay ground along with other things. doe family groups claim our dirt.

you wouldn't have any idea and wouldn't see me from second week in august until the holidays. -
while not hard antler we're close to the time they start to get juiced up on testosterone. given what you posted i don't disagree. he's not just conditioned/fed due to it being late summer. he's pretty developed in the back compared to the front with a bigger proportioned skeletal frame. i know you can get big deer at 3.5 but he doesn't seem 2.5 in the pic from last october. to some it's all talk and i agree you should shoot him anyway. when you do please have the teeth sent out, save the lower jaw, and find out by having as many puzzle pieces as possible to paint the picture. just what i think. go get him!

Always had great luck with Cooper tires for car. Ridgeland has had Hankook tires on it that have lasted forever 60k+. I've taken it off-road in places I should never have and they seemed to pull through whatever just fine. Winter or mud. I really like them. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

looks like you're off to a good start biz. definitely practice sitting in a chair though. good advice given by the others so far.

22LR shortage doesn't seem to still exist around here. cheap stuff like that i've seen for anywhere between 0.07-0.09 per round. i've got some CCI Chootem and winchester stuff to plink and hunt with. other than that it's about a case left of either aguila or Eley better quality target stuff. both i got for 0.12 per round.

i'm slammed right now. this forum gives me a little bit of a breather throughout the day. still i almost feel obligated to put together a jawbone aging thread and post some periodically. it's all good stuff that should be out there for hunters to learn if the want.

honestly i didn't click on it but know what video it is and had watched it a couple days ago.

that'll work awesome. bigger than mine. having a fridge to put boned out meat has served me well for years. i don't really dry age because i don't want the loss. just keep the meat elevated off the bottom within meat totes. used to keep draining the totes but don't feel it's the best idea, same with trying to use pads at the bottom of each.

he touches on a lot of goods point in a short period of time. it's a great video. i've shared it on social media.

i accepted the idea of having faith in God later in life by choice and not as much up bringing. i'm sure like others may have here, i always find myself humbly asking for help or sometimes for things to be fixed when i or those close to me are in a time of need. more often than not i believe the little things in life, like harvesting a deer successfully, are on me. at the most I'd only ask to be empowered to have my crap together to get it done. i don't expect those things to simply be done for me, with lack of reasonable diligence on my part. if i didn't i think it'd rub people the wrong way. like Grampy i believe stated, religion of exists differently within everyone. i've learned if you're over the top and too preachy you're words are only meant for those that are the most devoted and leaving out everyone else.

They updated the site finally with the buck hunting page having a link to PDF to show jawbone aging. That was a bunk link in the regs guide pdf last year. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

based on conversations i've had, those i've talked to, seem to define it as 4.5 - 6.5+ yrs old based on biological concepts. they haven't put much out there for buck info in regards to those age classes though, so i don't believe they think hunters in general are willing to wait that long.
-
i think they're leaving it open to interpretation. however, based on what they've put out there they're assuming harvest of age classes over 3.5 yrs old isn't nearly likely or relevant enough to bring up. so i'd say yearlings and in some cases 2.5 years olds are what they'd expect to be the threshold of peoples will power to let a buck go.

I'm glad DEC is staying with this and know owning the the education side to an extent of their voluntary concept. It was going to make or break relationships with other orgs if they did or didn't. I take the "what hunters value" data like a fart in the wind, because DEC admitted the monkeyed with weighting things to get the outcome they wanted. That said DEC is doing much better. I'm happy they're being involved in the education process versus their old adage of "don't worry about whatever or anything. we've got it all handled. here's some tags." Seems to be opening the door to great things in the future. It's no longer DEC and everyone else. It's everyone for a collective effort now to have better deer hunting.
