I'll try to use it in the early bow season as a 2nd tag rather than a dmp. Save those for regular season and anything left is good in mz.

The oldest looking one. If both appeared the same age, then the biggest body. Racks get nailed to the wail or made into knife handles, etc.

My nephew gets 8 to 10 kill permits every year. Couple small patches of woods with hedgerows and fields. There are people who hunt it, but with few ambush spots, it is all but impossible to kill this many during hunting season. After a couple days pressure, the deer change patterns for a few days. The only way to maintain any control of the population is to spread out the killing over several months. Which means getting and using nuisance permits. Save him 1000's in organic crops every year.

I am open - to hear him speaking about deer. I am not open to paying for a deer seminar and having a sermon break out and dominate the program. It sounds like that is what is happening. -

As others said, 3 acres leaves you little room for recovery. You will still need permission from adjoining property owners to recover your deer.

Part of the problem with regulation by legislation rather then the DEC.

Article in Sundays Syracuse paper said they are pretty much gone from the Homer/Scot area. This was one of the 1st and worst areas.
