That’s why I hate mowing my fields in May. I’ll wait an extra 2 or 3 weeks to avoid just this.

That ain’t the Stud Muffin!

You nuked your organic parsley?? No longer truly organic.

Wolc, you should be trying to sell @phade some of that old barn wood you will be taking down this summer. Sounds perfect for his space.

Dark or light is ok. The garage should work if it gets hot in there. Ive heard of people putting them on the dash of their car and leaving it in the hot sun too. If you hang them, don’t do one bunch all at one time, spread them out a bit so there is good air flow. You’ll see the leaves lose their bright green color and turn sort of dull. You want them to crumble but not turn to dust, so just keep checking. I’d guess 3 or 4 days. I dry lots of other herbs too. A dehydrator makes it easy and is useful for other things too, like deer jerky. You should consider getting one, especially if you like to feed your baby more organic and natural foods. Dehydrated fruits etc are very healthy.

Dehydrator. Or hang in a hot garage or attic.

@Moho81, @turkeyfeathers The Ryman is very cool, take the backstage tour if you can too. Nashville Hot Chicken is a dining must. Hatties B’s is one of the originals, but others are very good. Broadway almost anytime of day or night is a great experience, drinks, food and live music! Depending on what you want to do, I can give other suggestions too.

Be sure to check out Mammoth Caves National Park. Very very cool and nice country. And of course all the Bourbon places. We toured JimBeam factory, very interesting and delicious sampling.

We started off at the weed beds in front of the Country Club. I’ve also gotten them on the eastern shore when there is a western wind, and also at the ledge where it drops from about 15 or 20 down to way beyond 60 or 70 feet. In front of Lourdes Camp further down the east shore is also a known spot.

My father in law would leave marker bouys out in fishless areas to get everyone else fishing over there instead of his spots.

I’ve been to a lot of places mentioned already and would go back everywhere I have been so far, no duds. I’ve been to Alaska twice and would certainly return, we barely scratched the surface of that state. But the next trip for sure will include fishing, hunting or both. The other trips were couples and I was the only one that would have wanted to fish or hunt. I am looking at going to Ireland and Scotland for my next overseas trip, maybe in a year or two. I really want to go back to Italy soon to see family, especially since some of them are up there in age. A friend of mine just came back from Iceland and it looks like she had an amazing trip, so that is on my list now too. Bionic - I love Maine too and I’m sure I’ll be going back there someday too. I’d like to go to Acadia National Park, and then head North. I put in for a moose tag, so who knows, it may be in a few months!

Morels.....as rare as a $2 bill. Nice haul!

I’ve never tried them after they flower. We have always picked them well before flowering. That time has long passed by now in my area. The flowers can be picked to make wine. I’ve tasted it before, pretty good. But I’ve never made it.

Lasagna with Bolognese sauce, and homemade pasta lasagna sheets. This was our first try on making the sheets and it was a big difference. We made them thin enough to almost see through and there were 7 layers. Happy Mother's Day! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

I'm ready to pack it in. Have not heard anything but rain, but i saw 8 deer, 3 male turkeys, (too far) and one yote. The yote had a patch of fur missing on his back. Came pretty close to me and i had my gun ready. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
