Trump is finished. I just love how some of you clowns continue to defend him. I reckon he could sleep with your wives or mamas and you'd still vote for him. Just wait until tomorrow's debate. He will be publicly tar and feathered. He is debating a woman and one of the moderators is a woman, and the other is a gay guy. And there will be women in the audience asking him questions and ready to stone him. If he ain't done yet, he will be after the debate.

Do gun laws make us safe?
steve863 replied to NFA-ADK's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I agree with you 100%. When you went into a gun shop in those days you saw hunting guns, target guns and some handguns for personal defense. When you walk into a gun shop these days it looks like you've walked into a military or police armory. It seems like younger gun owners prefer the "Rambo" image over the image of sportsman of yesteryear. I surely can't change these people's minds, but they shouldn't think for a minute that the rest of society will be accepting of their preferences. -
Correction, the outfitter does mention the application deadline as March 15, so again, how would you be able to hunt this year? Can a license be transferred from that group member who can't go to you? I would find that highly unlikely.
-
I've hunting in Montana 5 times, be it 20+ years ago and back then there were deadlines in applying for a license. It looks like there are still deadlines and they are long past, so I don't know how you'll be able to hunt there this November? I don't see anything on the outfitters website mentioning licenses which is a bit unusual especially in a state where there are application deadlines. That right there would make me a little suspicious of this outfitter. http://fwp.mt.gov/hunting/licenses/buyApply/appDeadlines.html

Moron Wildlife Occupied Arrested

My apologies, you were the first to post a link to it, but Curmudgeons stood out since his had the visual. You did give a "like" to Bubba to the statement he made about what the eyewitnesses said, so does this video change your view any? That is the bigger question here. -

Please stop the nonsense. Why didn't he get out of the vehicle with his hands up to only "discuss" things the first time when he was stopped at the beginning of the video if he didn't want things to escalate? If you were a cop and and you saw someone doing what he did you would have shot too. Most especially since he ran off after the initial stop. You guys are trying to pull things out of your butts to justify things here. And I am not one to defend the black kid in Ferguson neither, so you fellas don't need to call me an unpatriotic liberal as you typically would people who don't agree with you. I would have shot the black kid in Ferguson, just as I would have shot Lavoy in this incident. Case closed, and I don't care whose lives matter more. -

You are full of it. You "liked" Bubbas post, now you are trying to clear your name here. I've told you numerous times to go find a country that has more freedom than this one. Even with all these rights you think have been taken away from you, we still have way MORE rights than any nation under the sun. Good luck in your search. I suspect you will remain here in this nation and continue to only bitch like an old woman. -

Yeah Bubbs, the video proves this doesn't it?? Why didn't your eyewitnesses mention that he was reaching into his coat for something? How convenient to forget such things when they want to sucker you guys into believing them. Funny how you, VJP, Papist, Philo haven't said $#!+ since Curmudgeon posted that video this morning. Do you now still feel that the law was at fault for filling him up with holes? They knew these guys were armed, right? There was little doubt about that since these guys brandished guns from the get go. I absolutely love it that there is video proof to prove all you conspiracy theorists WRONG here!! If it had somehow proven you right you would have been all over the video like flies on you know what. Now there isn't a peep out of you. You guys would have stretched this crap out for years like you have with Waco and Ruby Ridge. Now it looks like the air has been taken out of your balloons doesn't it? Hahaha, boy this made my day today!! -
Happy Birthday Wooly! You are the only true hunter/naturalist on this forum! No surprise at all (at least to me) that your birthday is one day after Jesus'!

Don't forget about the copper tubing they can't get to in the hunting cabins with the flatlanders occupying them for a few weeks.
-
No way does that look like a 400 lbs bear to me.
-
Enjoy the wormies, too!! LOL
-
So do I, do you have a problem with it? LOL Any deer put down is a good deer!!

Most of these parasites are in such places as the liver, brain, stomach or intestines. Simple solution is to not eat any of these organs. I know some people can't wait to eat the liver or heart, but they could keep them as far as I am concerned. I never liked organ meat from any other animals either, so I'll be damned if I will eat it from a deer.

Congratulations to your father! Real great story, to go back to your old stomping grounds and scoring! TIme to sell that property in Putnam that he just bought, eh? Just kidding, but in all honesty you got to get away from civilization a bit to have a really enjoyable hunt. Hunting in these suburban areas like Putnam, Westchester counties, Long Island, etc. just don't have the same feel. When you have neighborhood dogs barking at you while you are trying to hunt, as you described earlier, it doesn't exactly make for a hunt that you will remember fondly.
-
I look at it this way. I wouldn't want some vegan behind me on the check out lane telling me how I shouldn't buy or eat meat while I am buying it at the supermarket, so I won't be making it a point that I am a hunter by displaying a deer carcass on top of my vehicle for everyone to see. I can't stand people who get in my face for a cause or issue, so I surely won't do the same to others.

They are shits that you will have enough toilet paper for. The low percentage ones are where you might run out of toilet paper and then some of you need to start using socks, handkerchiefs, underwear, hats, etc. to clean your butts off! LOL

Yeah, she wants $800 per hunter and probably thinks she can get 10-15 guys to hunt on the 20 acres. I've seen set-ups like that. I can't believe hunters are dumb enough to hunt like that and give landowners the money. That's why you see fewer and fewer people hunting, especially in the Catskill, Hudson Valley region. Many don't want to hunt public land (me included), and private land is being leased at some ridiculous prices for small acreage. Add to this AR's in the Catskills and very few doe permits being issued and you are making many hunters wonder why on earth should they even bother to hunt at all? For the fresh air? You don't need to buy a hunting license to get fresh air.

I can't get over some of you dudes who need to use your socks to wipe your butts, if you forget the TP. Do you think people 100 years ago had Charmin double ply with them? Plenty of leaves on the ground to do the trick.
-
Wow, great job! That's one meat pole that will be hard to match by anyone!! You must have bent your gun barrel somewhere since you actually connected this year!! Congrats!
-
Se habla Espanol? Maybe I could understand it better in Spanish?
-
About time you two came out of the closet! LOL
-
That's the laugh of the week for sure!!
-
At least us flatlanders have teeth.

You guys freeze the meat, then defrost it to process and then you refreeze?? Whatever floats your boats, but that ain't the way it should be done. If I was told by a butcher that my beef or chicken was processed that way, I'd tell him to keep it. Granted I don't know what actually happens with the meat I do buy, but I am pretty sure the proper way to do it is NOT to freeze before you process and then refreeze again.
