  2. This happened to one of the guys who works with me, our headquarters in in Liechtenstein, he was logged into our sever when he applied. He was denied. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. What?! wow, sorry to hear that. I heard a person from the unemployment office on the radio a week or so ago, she said if they have to call you it will show as a restricted # on your phone. If you don't answer it - the case gets filed. She said they are trying one time, thats it. Not sure how true that is, but I don't doubt it.
  4. I helped my wife set it up a month ago, no issues whatsoever, I guess we were lucky. On the other hand am still working, (from home) but was informed this week that I’m taking a 15% pay cut until 12/31. Ouch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I am stoked about opening day. I'm not a turkey hunter and only tried a few times. I took a few hikes on our lease about a month ago, each one after a fresh snow. I was able to confirm their roosting area and travel each time. Hopefully not too much has changed in the last month, but they seem to be in the same area they were in during deer season. I'm going down to set up a blind this weekend.
  6. Who told you that? I haven't been able to get in touch with them. I wanted to cancel the order yesterday. $100 for 15 turkey shells is hard enough to swallow. Arriving in 6 weeks and after the opener is just a piss off.
  7. I don't know. Mine was a single order for TSS turkey shells. One of my sons ordered some .350 Legend and got it in a couple of days, we both placed the orders on the same day. March 27th.
  8. I placed an order with Target Sports in March, still haven’t received it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I’m sorry, didn’t know. I asked the guy when he brought my stuff out to the truck and he said yes they ship. Should have known. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Oh sorry, decided to keep it. The gun I wanted to purchase has been difficult to find and now with all of this crap going on I’m not making any unnecessary purchases for a while. Lock er up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yes the National Forest was open, not sure how they could close it,(NY state park was open as well)the steams in PA had some fishermen in the popular areas but not crowded at all. It seemed like the camping areas were popular with bikers and walkers. Although gated, there were cars parked at the entrances to the campgrounds. We packed a cooler and stopped for lunch and let the dog run a round for a bit at one of the trailheads we used to ride. We were never in close proximity to anyone else. 13. My wife and I took a ride to the Allegheny National Forest to spend some time out of the house. It was a really nice drive, we spent a lot of time talking and thinking back in the many miles we spent riding the Harleys through norther PA and the many years we spent with the kids on dirt bikes and atvs in the National forest. A really nice day. Well it turned into a great day when we drove north out of Warren on 62 and saw that Tall Tails guns was open! I called them from the lot as it looked dark I side, he said “order whatever you want online and we’ll bring it out!” They are even allowing one customer at a time inside to browse if you don’t know what you are looking for. I bought some turkey ammo, Yes they are selling guns. If you are In WNY and feel like taking a drive they are open and selling. They do ship too. Just bought I would share in case anyone is in looking for something. D Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Turkey loads

I placed an order for a couple of boxes of TSS with Target Sports last Sunday. They said 15 day delay in shipping. I haven’t heard a word from them yet. As long as it gets here a few days before the opener I‘ll be happy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I have made quite a few purchases from GB. Never once had any kind of issue whatsoever. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. We decided to get out of the home office yesterday and take a drive to the property in Ellington. We hiked a few miles and came across a few of these. It always amazes me to see these giants snapped like toothpicks.
  18. Tried to PM you, not sure if it went through or not. There are a lot of good places within an hour of us to take the kids. Here is the stocking list, I used to cross reference this with my old Sander's Guide to find places. https://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/30465.html
  19. Is that at Evans Gun Club? Looks awfully familiar Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I just ran to Lowe's in Hamburg to grab an ethernet cable for one of my computers and was shocked at how many people were there. Looked like more people working there today than on a Saturday in July when you NEED help.
  21. As of Monday we closed our building for a month. Working from home, thankfully I can do this and be productive. So many can not and I don't know how people will get by financially. I am very fortunate, my company is paying us, but that's not going to go on forever if this gets worse. We are all effecting business in a big way, personally I am postponing a driveway that was going in in a few weeks. I ordered a new O/U shotgun on Saturday at my LGS, called them Monday and cancelled it, thankfully they hadn't gotten around to placing the order yet. I was planning on starting to resurface my deck this weekend, now its on hold. My wife and I are putting everything on hold until we know things will get back to normal financially.
  22. I'm looking at something new so something's got to go. I bought this two years ago because I had one similar to it back in the 90s and always missed it. Well, I didn't miss it too much, this one has never been outside, it is literally new in box, 3 chokes, lock, everything as new. It's the 2018 Shot show special, limited run and no longer available. If you know someone who may have been looking for one of these, they are very hard to find. I paid $800. For sale @ $700. I will ship it to FFL (split cost), or meet if in WNY. Pics aren't great so I added some from Brownings website... https://www.browning.com/products/firearms/shotguns/bps/discontinued/bps-medallion-12ga.html
  23. I don't mean to sound like they don't hold up and I'm certainly not bashing them. They are just not "brush busting" boots and I learned the expensive way, but they are great cold weather boots. I can't explain the crack in the newest pair, maybe I damaged it somehow on the 4wheeler or tree stand and did not notice until it was completely split.
  24. I have a pair of Arctic Pros that I shredded walking through brush the very first time I wore them in the woods. That neoprene is not durable at all. I did buy another pair a few years ago and still wear them, but I am very aware of what I'm walking through, cold weather to and from the stand is it. That pair cracked where the boot flexes on top of the foot during their second season, I sealed it with Aquaseal and they are fine. As far as tucking pants into them goes, not a chance for me. They are really tight to the leg for me, uncomfortably tight even with only a base layer on. I only wear them with cold-weather bibs which go over them easily, I'm sure I could get field pants or loose jeans over them. Again, I have Arctic Pros so they are pretty thick, others may not be.
  25. About 15 years ago I got a call from Capital One asking if I had purchased a bull dozer for $30,000 in Nevada-two days earlier. The guy drove off with a $30,000 dozer and two days later they checked on it. I have no idea how that even worked, the limit on that card was no where near $30k. They took care of it though.
