I have been wanting to stuff my meat in a pineapple for quite some time... ah, um, stuff a pineapple with meat I mean... Some of the recipes I have seen use sausage, some use pork.

3 months from today!? Damn, it will be here in a flash too, the way this year is going. I just had new tires put on the ATV last week, (Father's Day present from one of my boys!), I pulled out the trail cameras the other and I'm planning on going down on Friday to take a little ride and set them up. Not that I ever want to wish summer away, but this post got me juiced for the fall!

I gave up on my lawn. Crabgrass preventer didn't work this year and weeds are coming up like crazy after treating it two weeks ago. I gave in and called TruGreen yesterday. Hopefully they can get this under control, I hate a messy lawn.

This always amazes me, I just don't get it. We use lights in the dark and wear orange whenever we are moving and sometimes hang an orange hat close by when sitting on the ground. Posted private land, but people roam, it's just not worth it.

I shot some #6 pheasant loads from my 12 gauge with the TSS choke when we patterned the guns on Saturday. At 35 yards you wouldn't know the difference to be honest and it felt SO much better on the shoulder.
