  1. mbucks27; what zone were these taken in? I like the 2nd one (18:53) but I must admit the last one has me guessing. Blew it up 200% - to fuzzy to tell or see a tail but the ear lobe looks like a cub.
  2. Very nice growalot - that's recycling! Two questions - what did you use for the roof & anything overly reflective?
  3. 99 days on the calendar wall, 99 days till NZ. Take one down, practice a few rounds, 98 days till NZ There was smoke comming from my gear bag yesterday. Turned out to be a left over tag burning up. Slammin`
  4. The harbor frieght solar powered bug zapper turned out to be - junk. An all day charge gives it maybe 2 hours - and with all the flies & skeeters in the NZ I saw it zap may 2 bugs. Bummer to, I mean the idea is there but poorly impilimented. Going to try my luck with a Eureka 12V Bug Zapper instead. Picked up a 3 socket adaptor (12 v). Figgured instead of hard wiring for the aa/aaa charger & other things just have a panel in the camper where I can plug things in. That way I can take the charger with me in the truck if need be. Lowes still sells inline switches, they work fine for dc wiring, fans etc. Clearing enough canopy for the panels in the woods is plenty of work. The good news is two 15w panels still function well in partial shade. Providing the sun is actually out, they have full exposure between 12 & 5pm.
  5. Looks ok from here Once your done with the repairs I'm sure you'll enjoy it. One of my next trips up to camp will involve some roof coating/sealing to. This weekend would have been good for that actually, plenty of sun & dry weather - well there's always something to do up there.
  6. Well a google pic of that model looks roomy enough. Got a privacy stall in the mix for a toilet / shower stall? This one seems ok, BPS used to sell one it was about the same size as a t/p style blind. So who's doing any camping this weekend? We got 2 decent sunny days comming up, sounds just about right to take care of some things then cook out.
  7. Had a chance to buy one a few years ago on the cheap - it was used but had 'character'.
  8. Something odd about the 1st. deer, at least it's smiling. :-\
  9. Throwing in a week for a youth hunt then early muzz after bow is already open is just plain GOOFY. In the NZ early MZ opens a week before reg gun season, OK. I do NOT agree with splitting up bow season like that. IF it is an early gun/muzz/youth it should be before gun season not in the damn middle of Bow. This proposal Fails.
  10. Both plots have been seeded. Swept over them with the lawn rake - trying to get as many under enough soil as I could. Got my fingers crossed and hoping for enough rain. I'll get back up there camping & getting other things done at least twice a month before late Sept. - October. So I'll be sure to check up on them. To Luck!
  11. Quite unfortunate. Sounds like a dehydrator will be workin over time.
  12. Or possibly CDO. Same thing but alphabeticaly correct. As It Should Be.
  13. If you do any scouting in and around that area, I recomend a mosquito head net.
  14. Years ago when I worked for an lift & installation outfit we helped the owners dad move a garage with a tractor & a whole bunch of sch 80 pipe. We just used it as a rolling platform and swaped out the lengths to the front. Almost took out the power lines for the whole street by the peek but I caught that in time.
  15. I was in Gander the other day and they got a whole row of plot seed, mostly all mixes and blends. I should have ordered this last month.
  16. That's neat! I mean you can tell he isn't bothered by the cam at all. In fact I think he likes to pose.
  17. Cool. Hope that fawn is ok, one of it's hind legs looks funky.
  18. Definatly got some birds cruzin that plot - it's cool how all that work keeps paying off.
  19. Very cool! Is that a homebrew cam?
  20. Finished tilling this plot and the other one close by. Tiller did a good job, I think it found every root in the whole place. Had to stop every 10-15 yards and clear the tines on the first round. Both plots got the twice over. Had to adjust the reverse pully, man does that come in handy. Plan to get back up there within two weeks to broadcast. It takes about a 1/2 hour each way to get the tiller from camp to the plots, so I thought hit them both. The other logging trail plots I'm just going to spray down, rake & broadcast when the time comes. The Ariens 5hp (Tecumseh powered) ran clean & strong, only used about 2 gal. Most of the pics were fuzzy, was having just a little trouble holding the camera still at the end of the day. 1st. pic new plot 2nd pic plot from last year
  21. More on this - sort of. U.S. Offers Foreign Aid to Countries Holding Billions in Treasury Securities - The United States is providing hundreds of millions of dollars of foreign aid to countries that it borrows billions from, according to a report by Congress's research arm. ----------- When I read about this kind of crap going on I start to wonder if I was born in this time so I can watch my country collapse? >
