Is there any way to know if this movie is actually factually accurate? Or, are we willing to temporarily suspend our suspicion/disdain for Hollywood as long as they make a movie to suit our agendas?

I don't watch over you. I find your posts to be mostly incoherent gibberish. And, judging by the fact that you can't defend anything that you post, perhaps even you do too. But, please keep implying that not agreeing with your half-thoughts makes me slow if it makes you feel smart.

Not a fan of Hillary. Sorry. No, I've just been avoiding the political stuff for the most part. But, some of the more ridiculous stuff just shouldn't go unchallenged.

Sounds like an over-reaction in Niagara- as does comparing this situation with Naziism.

He was hunting on state land through the lottery. It's not really a residential area.

A friend of mine at work just showed me pictures of a nice 8-pointer that he took yesterday in Montauk. 132# dressed. Shot just after noon.

I saw a group of 15 deer in a field in Calverton on my way home from work. All anterless.

OK grow. You're right. You don't owe anyone an explanation. But, it's curious that you would refuse to explain yourself in a thread that you started. -

Skillet, I'm glad for you that you've found a place where your ignorance is accepted, even encouraged. Aint the internet great? -

Nice thread. It starts with a veiled suggestion of 'what someone in this country should do' to the President. A few posts later, a statement that calls the President a 'kenyan born monkey', and the only one on the thread getting attacked is the guy that called out those posts. Another proud moment. -
I agree with the guys above. Someone thinks this is their land and that you are the trespasser. Has the landowner given anyone else permission?

Best poached egg tip i've seen is to use a muffin pan with a little water in each, and bake in the oven.

Cabelas is having a big sale. Just ordered three Moultrie blackout cams. Were $200. On sale for $99.

It's killing me to have to wait until this weekend. Hope things are still hot on for the opener and that I didn't miss the rut entirely.
-
4F here also. Welcome.

I saw a few does this weekend, all solo. I have pics of bucks, all at night. Did see a good number of new scrapes. 4F.

Any chance you could request to lease the property for the hunting season? That way you could try it out before committing.

Shrinkage- that's bad. -
Hammer and nail. Use the metal signs- they're much better and harder to tear down.

i bought my land last summer and posted it immediately. i was torn about putting my phone number on it because my number makes it obvious that i don't live in the area. someone made a good point about the locals who've probably been using the property. you need to do something to make them aware that there is a new owner and that you don't want any trespassers. after posting my land, i did get a phone call from someone who had been hunting there and was requesting permission to continue using the land. if you're worried about putting an out-of-the-area phone number on your posted signs, maybe you could put your email address.

27% off the asking price sounds pretty good to me, assuming that the asking price was in the right ballpark for going rates. Good luck.

Agree with Ants. If at all possible, leave nothing of value and try to make it obvious that there's nothing to steal.
-
Sorry to hear. I've been there and it sucks. I try not to leave anything of value. That said, i'd call the police to file the complaint and report the stolen items.

Are they the blackout type, or is there a flash?
