Zuckerberg is a hypocrite

Since we're on the subject of walls and hypocrites, how do we like Trump calling climate change 'a total hoax', and then requesting permission to build a sea wall to protect one of his golf courses from 'global warming and it's effects'? -
The little that i know about bear meat is that it has to be cooked through to be safe. I would go with stews, braises, or slow cooker recipes.
-
I've never cooked or eaten bear meat. But, I'd imagine that the best recipe would depend on the cut of meat. Do you know what cut you have?

Congrats. Great pictures. I'm hoping for some similar luck Friday or Saturday.
-
I know. I was pretty sure you'd get a response to that one. You also forgot to mention the conspiracy theorists- that was an oversight.
-
Now that's funny.

You could do the oven part the day before. That would probably turn out better than doing it all at once.
-
i would wrap them in foil and throw them in the oven at low heat, maybe 275 for 2-3 hours. Let them cool. Then grill them. It's a slow process. But, pretty low effort. And worth it.

Blue Point is really good. I'm not a huge fan of the blueberry. but, the toasted lager is great. Local, too.

Years ago, you could watch these shows and actually learn something about hunting. Now, as mentioned above, they're all about selling products- and showing exotic locations, freakish antlers, etc. I very rarely see a show anymore that portrays anything that I can relate to.

Interesting......

When should we expect to know if this passes or not?
-
Good advice, thanks. I think that's where I was coming from- possibly trying to piss off the tom and bring him in looking for a fight.
-
I don't recall seeing a ban suggested in this thread. Just a suggestion that we consider non-lead as a smarter and safer alternative. And then, the ensuing outrage.
-
Last spring, the toms on my property seemed to have hens with them from the time they flew down. So, I couldn't get them to come in to my calls. I was wondering if the shock gobble might be a better option to try to get them to come in, even when they're already henned up.
-
Question for the more experienced turkey hunters- Do you guys use a shock gobble call? If so, how and when is it best used?

Wouldn't the small increase in cost for copper be offset by the decrease in wasted meat? I don't recall exactly, but the box of shells i bought this past year was only a few dollars more than the ammo I've bought in the past. If you avoid having to throw away a few pounds of meat, it seems like a breakeven at the very least- not even considering the potential health concerns of failing to remove all of the lead fragments.

Yes. Totally agree. People should be free to make these kinds of decisions for themselves without interference from others. I honestly cannot fathom why anyone would resist this bill. -

Culver, I believe that the issue often involves someone who is in fact unable to do it themselves- someone who is bedridden, paralyzed, has ALS, etc. -

Intellectually competent adults who would like to make their own personal healthcare decisions without anyone else's interference. Can't imagine why there should be any opposition.
