  1. I will have to try a batch out. Thanks.
  2. I have one and it is on the same level as all the other lower tiered safes while being cheaper. It is what it is. For me there is no way anyone is going to move it if you fill it and either build it in or anchor it. It is substantial enough that no one will be getting into it without being prepared. That said if you have some crooks who have some time and some tools I think most of them but the absolute highest(read expensive)level ones can be beat. I think the best defense is building it in so it can not be tipped or moved which greatly aids in its security. They are not as easy to compromise with just access to the front. As stated above you are not getting 32 guns in it but I have not seen any of them that match what they say can fit in them. I like mine and I like that I got it on sale and I used a coupon and I got Dicks points money back on it!!!!
  3. I have a Diamond Marquis and love it. Same materials and technology as Bowtech for better price! My bow shoots just a touch over 300 and quiet. I did wrap the handle to give the skinny grip a feel I like but that's it. I got my 12 year old their adjustable Infinite Edge and he likes it and can grow with it for years.

    Deer Tracks

Thanks for the info, I was getting worried, thought my deer had started pissing windshield washer fluid!! lol Yea that one track was smoking fresh. I could not have been to far behind him. Hope he made it. We had a big 10 wandering around but I do not think this was his track. It sure made me very alert on watch for a couple days!!
  5. Ok this one wins the most not aesthetically pleasing vote so far!! Yikes! You may need to go to your doctor and get shots before hunting that!!
  6. Not sure I can condone cutting up any backstrap!! lol I would roll that up in some steaks though. Let us know how it come out.

    Deer Tracks

Here are a couple this year That starter is 4.25 inches long Blue pee? The pic did not come out real well but it was distinctly blue.
  8. Wooly, Love your pics! Looking forward to keeping up with your adventures!! Good luck out there.
  9. Wooly, Love your pics. Look forward to seeing how your shed season goes and reading your updates.
  10. That's a lotta dog chews right there!! You guys really impress someone like me who has never found a shed. I have found dead heads. Then again I only have a couple spots and do not look a whole lot. I did go out twice last end of last winter in a spot specifically looking for one from a bunch of bucks I had on camera but no go.
  11. I'm not a fan of shooting a 22 rifle anywhere I am not sure where the bullet will end up. The spot I hunt full of hickories is 130 acres maybe with roads around it and some houses. I use a pellet gun and my son is looking for his first squirrel with a youth 410.
  12. The sausage looks good is it like a snack sausage served sliced cold? Share a recipe?
  13. Stew all gets ground and made into sausages made by me. Or one place I get snack sticks made.
  14. Thanks land!! I actually print the thread off and keep all the years so I can glance back at them as I get old and forgetful! Or wishing it was hunting season!!
  15. need an after pic, before you eat it!!
  16. 12/16 BIL and I behind house first sit nothing. We then hit 3 Rivers and did some walking. Deer are sure in the swamps! No luck getting them out though! Back out back for last watch, man it was wet! I had one come out right before the end at 40 yards. It was a little one and all alone. Got a pass and was a good end to the season.
  17. Live from the stand oh crap season over. Sitting in airport since 6am. On way to Nashville. Couple nice does here!
  18. Yes she is! Tracks all over from last night. One really stupid big buck would make my morning![emoji41]
  19. 12/15 Out behind the house for first watch I saw a doe and fawn too far out. BIL and I then hit 3 Rivers to walk up a little area. No luck.' Out back for the last few hours and zip. Tomorrow is it.
  20. 12/14 Drove to Tully for am hunt that was not a good idea! 20 inches snow with frozen on top! Turned around drove back home got out back about 30 mins after legal. Nothing. Then My brother in law and I went to Howland island and put a bunch of miles on. We did put up a group of 5 but no shots. Long day.
  21. 34 here snow down to about 5 inches now, had doe and fawn go by a bit ago too far out Squirrels all over this morn
  22. 12/13 Another beaut of a day! Sat first watch nothing come out and 3 deer and a yote had crossed at edge of lawn and woods. My bro snuck around and pushed the thicket they went into and put em up but towards the houses Then decided to go still hunt some state. I hit once spot I like but where I wanted to go was man tracked up. Got done there and head over to check out another side. Did some hiking and that spot was a bust not any tracks nothin. Get home take a short break and eat. Go to get ready to head in behind house and notice my licenses and tags missing. I keep in a zipped pocket on my coat arm. I also zip my key in there well when I got out to the truck I unzipped to get key and musta left it open then took off coat and out it went. So I drive to lot I am 99.9 percent sure where it fell out and nothing. Spent the next two hours backtracking every step that day. Nope. Hit dicks and had to get reprints. Someone had to pick them up.
  23. Not a good weekend so far! Drove 45 min south to hit a spot well 20 inches snow with ice on top nope back home in stand at 7:30 am. Lost my licenses yesterday!
