  1. I am with maytom on this all the way. I am not o fan of getting drenched. I was able to sneak a few hours in this morning before the rain really got going again, it was still damp and I sat on a plastic trash bag to try and keep my backside dry. Didn't keep it warm though.LOL
  2. Not exactly "Live" from the woods. No TapaTalk on my phone anymore. I got out and sat from about 5 until 8. Called a little and nothing. I didn't even hear the normal birds of the woods like chickadees and so on.
  3. Awesome outing alloutdoors. Congrats to you and your buddy.
  4. Hoping to get out in the morning, if it's pouring like it was this morning at 4:30 I think I'll wait. I really hate hunting in the rain.
  5. Chops in the oven, steamed peas and mashed taters. All the pics of ribs is giving me a craving.
  6. Those are some great pics eddie. I really like the last one best, I lobe ocean pics with cliffs.
  7. The mags are $17.99 and shipping is $4.99. The only issue I noticed was it says cannot ship alone. So I have to call and ask about that.
  8. Picked up a sixer of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, and a 4 pack of Grolsch cork tops. Flipped a coin and this was the result. I am not sure why they call it a pale ale, it's pretty dark and hearty, probably perfect for beer brats.
  9. Congrats! Nothing wrong with putting the hit on a jake.
  10. Sorry to hear that. I really hope things get better.
  11. I was going to. But I have had a frikin headache non stop for a few days. I just wanted an easy meal. Tonight was supposed to be chops on the grill.
  12. You went on vacation, and had a good time. No reason to stress it. Hope you had a blast and welcome back.
  13. Midway had the best price for the M&P 15 .22LR short body magazines. Looked at Brownells and a couple others. Even Ebay was higher then Midway. Really do appreciate the help folks.
  14. Ham and cheese sandwiches with potato chips.
  15. Just want to order a couple magazines, and I have never mail ordered anything dealing with fire arms before. But they have the best price.
  16. Great pics. Nice postwork as well.
  17. Good to know. Thanks for the feedback Jerkman.
  18. How are they? Reliable and what you see and what is listed is what you get?
  19. Congrats to your buddy.
  20. I know that ants. That's why I went to a different shop today. Salesman answered all my questions and I liked the way he conducted himself.
  21. You can hold it, just not grasp it as firm as with an actual grip. I have been shouldering it and while not ideal, it's functional and I can get a line of sight pretty well. I know it will never be a 'tack driver' in it's current state, and I'm OK with that. I have wanted an M16 style rifle for over 30 years. I never bought one as I found other uses for the money, and would have never hunted with it. When my ATV sale went the right way I decided I was buying an AR platform for two reasons; 1) Because I have wanted one since I was 12. 2) As a middle finger to Cuomo and all the anti-gun fools, and to prove you can make us modify our guns, but at this time you can't take them away or keep us from buying them! Some of us still believe in the right to own and bear arms. Even if we have a goofy looking rifle If I have to get used to that silly handle, so be it. LOL It will be like anything else, the more time I spend shooting it the more I will learn how make it do what I want it to do.
  22. Will do. I know it won't win any accuracy contest with that stupid handle, but should still be fun to shoot at the range. I wasn't looking for Sub-MOA, just an AR platform that I could shoot 100 rounds at targets and only be out $10.
