I did porterhouse/shell steaks on the grill. I also did some shrimp kabobs and mushroom jalepeno kabobs. Not pictured was a mac salad with pepperoni, tomato, and scallions in a vinaigrette instead of mayo. Yeah, I left the veins and seeds on the peppers, that's where most of the heat comes from.

Um, yeah. They don't make those there.

I guess this counts for the topic. No pics but I have a question.. Couple years ago the g/f and I took a little vacation up into the Killington VT area in September. Not much to do in a ski town/area that time of year. So we went to the Long Trail Brewery for lunch on the second day. They have some great craft beers. I got the sampler which was 8 of their best brews in 6oz glasses. The only one I didn't like was the 'Pumpkin Ale'. Favorite was the 'Double Bag', that would make some great beer brats! Just don't order the chicken wings. They brought my order out and they were raw in the middle. Sent them back and the second time was the same. Ended up taking them back to the Inn and heating them in a mic. Anyone ever been there?

Actually, I was a Dodgers fan until '99. I will admit, I am not a die hard fan, but the Dodgers used to be from Brooklyn, and I really never cared for the Yankees much. The Metropolitans kind of took the place of the Dodgers in NY, and I was a fan, so in '99 I decided who ever wins a three game series between the Mets and the Dodgers will be my favorite team. Mets won. Oh, dinner was dirty rice with burger.

Couple of t-bones pan fried in butter with a rub instead of a marinade. Pasta salad with a homemade vinaigrette dressing, and steamed broccoli.

Hey, I can't control who likes what I post and who doesn't. It is what it is. I was just asking as Espresso seems to be posting some pretty eradic threads. Some of them, like this one are a nice change from the political arguments. I meant no insult or disrespect. Just a question.

I came in from the back side of the swamp and looked around. I didn't find any scratching on the ground to show they are looking for food, but I did locate a few scat piles. It's not looking like there are a ton of birds in there, but now I know for sure there are a few. Good enough to keep my interest in the area.

I tend to think things through these days. If I can't/won't use it I won't buy it.

My Ranchland in 7mm-08 is 40" over all with a 20" barrel. She is a tad loud, but she shoulders quick and is pretty light. Fits my shorter frame nicely. Not sure I ever want to go back to a full size rifle.

Pretty nice pattern from the Federals too, but those Winchesters look great. I will have to see if they have those Wins in a 3".

The misspelling of martial law was my fault. I was in a hurry to get the post up. The bad part is people who just follow, copy and paste words to make a fake point didn't catch it. There is a thread here about Martial law, and the only people thinking it can't happen are the ones that think that little militia in IA will save them. Or the like.
