  2. A little late to the party , but happy birthday anyways..
  3. I did all my Christmas shopping out of the sears catalog when I was a youngster, circled every thing. And remember when cabelas had reasonable prices..
  4. Wife has a lc- 380 a bit bigger than the lcp. The gun has been flawless .
  5. I have had my wife’s gp-100 and my super redhawk and Blackhawk completely torn down to do springs, hammer and trigger shims with no special tools needed.
  6. I think you would be a happy camper after going to the Harrisburg show..
  7. You can google, Great American outdoor show. Has the layout of the show and like Dinsdale said pre print your ticket.
  8. Wife and I have been several times and it’s worth the drive, every thing under the sun for outdoor stuff..
  9. The guy shooting it in the Video didn’t even shoulder the gun, he had it on his chest. I would like to just have a shell casing.
  10. Stick it out sir , my oldest brother was a chewer for many years and the hell he just had to endure because he developed esophageal cancer was not pleasant. The doctors removed part of his esophagus and his stomachic bringing what was left up and reattaching it , only to have what was left die and now he has no esophagus or stomachic and is being fed by a tube, the biggest thing that’s bothering him is not having any food or drink now for over a month. You can do this , it’s worth it. And myself I used to smoke and chew and gave it up many years ago..
  11. If you go to aliants web sight it lists max load for unique with a 158 grain bullet in 38 special is 4.7 . + p max is 5.2. Lyman has 4.0 to 4.5 grains. It’s a nice tolerable load ( but you do know you are shooting a heavy projectile from a light snub nose ) it is in spec for 38 special rounds. Our self defense rounds are the old FBI load 158 lead hollow points.
  12. Wife and I both have 38+p lcr’s, we both have easily a couple thousand rounds down the barrel with no signs of wear. Our load is 158 grain bullet over 4 grains unique , we shot our cc guns a ton. I am a firm believer in practicing with what you carry..
  13. Wife and I did a New England cruise up the coast and nova scoutia was one of our stops. We didn’t really care for the bay of fundy but we absolutely loved Peggy’s cove. Little fishing town and it was like steeping back in time.
  14. When I was a school bus mechanic our 66 passenger freightliner busses had a Mercedes / Allison combo and the Allison’s were just bullet proof. I have a story about a duramax , we had a driver pump gasoline into one of our one ton busses (about a half tank on top of the diesel )he drives it about 15 miles before it stopped, we get it back to the shop and start diagnosing it and found out about the gas. So long story short we drained the tank changed the filters, poured in a few gallons of diesel and it started right up and is still being driven.now don’t get me wrong they are not trouble free . diesels are a high maintenance . google common problems with duramax’s .but man that impressed me..
  15. Cool rob thanks, I enjoyed the men and cars of America and also the Harley Davidson series. This one should be good ..
  16. The age should have been lowered awhile ago, I hope it passes..
  17. So wife and I are going anyone else want to go? We are not flat out riders but go along at a good pace. We usually stay on the easier trails.. would be fun to get a group of us ny hunters together..
  18. Have you thought about looking at Yamaha ? I think if you were to do some research that you would find Yamaha’s reliability rating is right up with Honda’s. Plus Yamaha’s cvt set up is one of the best if not the best.
  19. You may want to google Honda electric shift problems, belt slippage is to me way overblown, unless of course you fill the cvt compartment with water..
  20. man shows just how powerful they are..
  21. Land to hunt on is going to be the biggest battle or affording it. Second is not getting the instant gratification, setting in a tree stand for hours and hours only to see one deer will not cut it for the younger generation . Even though there’s tons of critters and things to observe when passing the time. My oldest likes to hunt but my youngest could care less, he liked to shoot but hunting he says is boring. My oldest herd him say that and he gets it , he says it’s all about the excitement of when you will see a deer..
