  7. this is my archery reloading room, my other man cave is my 20 by 30 garage that holds my motorized toys. just thought I have never taken photos of my garage.....and yes I keep it this clean.....

    I would have done everything I could have to get that bear out.
  14. Grow I agree on the deer using the corn or not, the farmer had started cutting it finally so hoping by this weekend it is all cut and we see some activity..

  16. To each his own, I have several guys I work with hang up the compound to go to a crossbow. When I asked them why the did, they all said it was easier and you didn’t have to practice a lot with it.i have no problem with them using it, but when they do shoot a deer with it, i always think it is a less challenging way. me personally it would take a lot for me to go to a crossbow. Actually It would take me to not be able to shoot a 40 lb draw bow before I would. But that’s me I like the challenge..

    Deer drives

    We used to do them all the time. First few days of gun season we would stand sit then we would do drives . same woods every year with the same rotation of watchers and drivers. We all knew the woods very well and knew where watchers were stationed and where a driver was expected to come out . Never had any near misses etc. but we all had hunted together for many many years and you could trust the other guys . We would definitely have no problems filling tags . I do much prefer less pressured hunting now, but back in my youth that’s what we did.i can remember my dad had a old international one ton stake body truck and a few times we had deer stacked like cord wood on the back...
