  1. Guess some of us are not as good of a hunter as you guys. Sure glad we have superior outdoors men as yourself on here .
  2. https://www.wheel-size.com/size/chevrolet/silverado-1500/2008/ Give this a look over .
  3. After having blown a few chances during archery and regular firearms , I like having another few days to get out .
  4. Those deer will be there next year. I really didn’t have the drive to get out this year myself , even on the new lease. We all had opportunities but we all messed em up one way or another. It is what it is , as I’m aging I I'm finding I don’t want my deer hunting to become work, if I want to go I go and I also do not go if conditions are iffy anymore . Quality over quantity ..
  5. After reading the entire thread the first thing that comes to mind. Welp deer season is coming to a close and here we go .
  6. ^^ this ^^ I’ve killed quite a few deer in this time frame also. More so 10-12 time frame .
  7. New Hampshire honors a NY cc permit.
  8. Well you’re certainly not wrong they very well could have been loose from the factory . But you’ll now never know if they were left loose or if it’s vibration by them applying the blue loctite , which is a huge no no . If you take the bow back to have work done and they have to remove any of the loctite bolts 95% chance they strip out the bolt. Just FYI if one needs to apply loctite to a small bolt that will need to be possible removed later Purple loctite is what one wants . Best of luck and by looking at your target photos your shooting pretty well already . Just remind the shop when you take your bow in for any work that they applied the loctite .
  9. I’m sorry but applying blue loctite is not the answer . First if you ever need to remove said bolts it will most likely result in a striped out bolt. The single biggest question is why does the bow produce so much vibration? I am not trying to be a smart ass here , and I truly hope you have no more problems and enjoy your journey into archery . But having to apply loctite to all the bolts on a bow is a bandaid.
  10. Did the bow seem get louder on the shot ? Like you could hear everything vibrating loose ? I hate to say it but the guy who set up you’re bow did not do a good job .
  11. I know your new , but did you happen to notice if the bow seemed to vibrate in your hand after shooting a arrow ?
  12. Lots of technology no doubt , wonder what the weight is ? It looks chunky ..
  13. I’ve watched tons of this guys tests, he’s pretty good at testing things with real world results .
  14. Getting the Utah permit you pick up 5 states , wife and I have ours . Here’s a great sight that I refer to often . https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/resources/ccw_reciprocity_map/?resident=NY&states[]=NY&states[]=UT Top map is ny permit , bottom is with Ny /Utah permit .
  15. Were all making sacrifices with these shortages..
  16. Wife and I had a big fat goose egg tonight , we’ll guess the Super redhawk will be put away and out comes the CVA .
  17. Wife and I are heading out for her last sit , we haven’t hunted since Nov 29th to give the lease a 2 week cool off. So hopefully we have a productive night even though it’s going to be a bit warm . Good luck to those heading out .
  18. Something to consider with the 30-30 lever gun is the over all weight. I bought my wife one and she ended up not liking it, it just got too heavy for her to carry on our extended hikes I bought her a 7mm- 08 and she’s loves it. And my son inherited the 30-30 .
