  1. Nice , Any wound damage photos ? Did you happen to recover the bullet and how well did it hold together ?
  2. Well do tell , specs please .. and congrats on the pig .
  3. This camera is about 15 yards to the left of a 18 ft ladder stand tucked into a small patch of pines about 15 yards off of the logging road . This road runs up down the hill and this is actually at a T in the road , kinda hard to see but right behind him to left of that tree is a grown over logging rd . We’ve got a good bunch of deer activity on this camera . Just waiting for the right wind to hunt this stand .
  4. Well there you go, I was a spitfire guy for many years and always remember guys saying how hard the blades opened and they would never shoot them. If I remember correctly NAP had a video of spitfires opening on water balloons and grape fruit. Your probably right, they did open but from human error not the BH fault .
  5. Bow , but my super redhawk is a close second ..
  6. $95 tyd for the sword titan. I bought it lightly used and never used it. Noticed In the first picture the spot on the sight bar that looks like the anodizing is worn off it’s not just a glare . $50 tyd for the truglo hybrid bought new for my wife’s bow and she liked her old sight better . So bolted it on she shot several arrows I took it off .
  7. Probably number one reason is I / we just love venison , it’s such a healthy meat too. I also love being in the woods watching all the wildlife. I get as much enjoyment watching birds as I do deer etc. I very much enjoy listing to my son and wife tell me their stories of what they had seen and hearing the excitement in their voices. And of course seeing how excited they are when they connect on a animal .
  8. Wife and I are up , we’ll be heading to the new lease in a bit . No cell service , so i will be on tape delay if we have any action .. Good luck to all heading out ..
  9. So So sorry for your loss, my condolences ..
  10. Yeah I feel for you guys in the northern western snow belt regions of the southern zone .
  11. Yep snowmobile clubs are complaining , I had not heard this so It was a bit of a surprise when I read it . I assumed it was a done deal .
  12. Just received my outdoor news and front page says county’s can opt out of the special season by nov 14. And can chose to opt out any year after as long as they notify the dec by May 1 .
  13. We use red , as my eyes adjust quicker to the dark after turning it off. Field dressing a deer it’s led white though .
  14. What I’ve done today - Cleaned and organized hunting shed , New batteries in the range finders and head lamps , packs are all packed with pull ropes, pruners, bino’s etc. safety harnesses checked ,broad heads are dead on with field points. Clothes have been hanging in the hunting shed since last season so they are aired out . I think I’m ready , my fist sit will be sat morning .
  15. Agreed , that lower part of her right rear leg looks weird .

    Case Trimmer

I use the lee specific case length gauge / shell holder with cutter chucked in my bench top drill press and the stud in a mini screw driver that accepts the different Phillips , flat head etc . Bits .
  17. More than a pet , they are part of the family . He sounds like he was a great buddy, sorry Larry ..
  18. Bragging was a poor choice of words, your right. But you need to decide on where you stand on your argument though is it antlers that they are making money off of or not . Here’s some of your posted reply’s I copy and pasted. Who says it has to be antlers well you did Again when it comes to Whitetail’s it’s all about the antlers and even the ones that can’t afford and complain about it would take a 200 inch whitetail hunt in a Ny minute you posted - Because 99.9% would and truth be known you would also. Then said - It’s a fact that most would accept a free ride to any high fencehunt. so is it 99.9% or most ? It’s funny how you do not like people assuming all high fence hunting operations are the same , but then you assume all hunters would hunt a high fence operation. And just a FYI I have no problem with hunters utilizing a high fence outfit . It’s their money and they can spend it how they want and or hunt how they want . Enjoy you’re hunting season and I’ll let you have the last word .
  19. So why would I go to Texas to shoot a doe? When I have my dmp’s for here . So these guys making 6 figures are making that kind of money on doe hunts then ? You keep bragging about the 200-400 inch deer being shot and how much money you they make, we all know what your were referencing to when you said we all would take a free hunt.
  20. Again I love how you think all of us will just give up our own personal morals for big antlers. You truly crack me up . There’s way more to a hunt than big antlers..
  21. I love how you can speak for us all , I 100% would not take a free fenced hunt no matter how big the rack .
