  1. I’m a Ruger guy but man those Dan Wesson’s are fine revolvers , nice ..
  2. I’ve been eyeing a few , Glock 40 and a gen 4 20 in 10 mm. My big mitts fit the Glock grips so well . But having said that , what I really want is a 10mm revolver. Almost bought a 4 inch 610 Smith tonight actually .
  3. Enough about the house yeah yeah it’s nice , let’s get to the real fun purchase , what’s the deet’s on the side by side ??
  4. I agree , I can count on one hand the times my low fuel light has come on in my 40 + years of vehicle ownership . This was a rarity for me .
  5. Well you could always buy used , oh wait ….
  6. Yes I know it has been high before , I do agree it’s manipulation of the market but inflation has a lot to do with it also. When food, goods etc. prices are also up its tough to swallow 80 to 100 dollar fill ups . As for driving smaller or more fuel efficient vehicles there’s more on the road now than ever has been.
  7. I know that’s the scary part , it’s only going to get worse .
  8. So I usually don’t let my truck get down so that the fuel light comes on and we’ll I did and man talk about light pockets now sheesh . I drive my 30 mpg Camry 4 or so days out of the week usually and only drive my truck a day or two to work so that helps but this inflation is insane .
  9. With hard cast and leading it has a lot to do with bullet diameter to barrel fit , one really needs to slug their barrel to know what diameter bullet is needed . Of course gas checks on hard cast bullets will do away with leading , powder coating seems to do a good job also even though I’ve never tried them. I’ve had good luck with no leading using hard cast ( https://rimrockbullets.com/xcart/?target=main) in my plinker loads in 38 and running hot 357 loads in my sons black hawk. Before I gave it to my son I was hunting with rim rocks 180 grain hard cast gas check over 13 grains of 2400 shooting 1380 fps over my chrono. And that load worked exceptionally well on deer and super accurate to boot . For the copper washed bullets, I’ve shot several thousand X-treme bullets ( https://www.xtremebullets.com/) from our 38’s 357’s and my 44 mag , sometimes pushing them hard at times with good accuracy. Now having said that my RIA 1911 in 10 mm absolutely hates the X-treme bullets flyers all day every day. Really for plinking rounds as long as you keep it down in the 8-900 fps or lower range you should be ok with hard cast . Or if you don’t want to worry and want to play with upper end loads the copper wash is the way to go .
  10. Um I’m not going to trust this state not making it a issue if not done by due date. No friggen way …
  11. I have a few manuals, I like comparing load data between my Speer , Hornady , Swift and my Lyman as the Lyman has a broader bullet / load information . Plus I like to use hardcast bullets and Lyman cover’s load data for them in spades . And just remember , Its easier to ask forgiveness than permission ….
  12. Well that’s just pretty cool , he did a great job.
  13. Well unfortunately that’s about typical nowadays , customer service is just about a thing of the past . Oh and I drove into work this morning to plow at 1:00 , Campbell to Elmira 30 miles and I made it .
  14. Oh I’m not nocking it , a gun is made to be shot . But the Ruger collectors that might be after such a piece would ding you for it being shot . If it were a mag I would throw ya a offer myself..
  15. Being it’s a Lipsey’s gun with the original box & papers , I would say around $1000. The thing that will get you is even though it looked un-shot when you bought it no proof and you did shoot it so it’s a used gun.
  16. Way better pictures, let us know how it shoots ..
  17. So your wrapping the hand warmers around your junk, hmmmm I guess that would keep one quite warm.
  18. Agree 100% I think we’re in for mass sell off of toys as the reality will set in that they don’t want the payment and really don’t use it .
  19. I sold one of our atv’s over the summer a 01 kodiak 400 . I had it listed for $2800, bought it for $1900 back 6 years ago and had about 4-$500 in to it with tires and a few mods. Figured I would get 25- $2600 . I listed it and had a guy call me that morning from down by Carlisle P.A. said he would be up that night , I had 5 others call and told them what number they were in call order . Guy showed up that night and he didn’t even try to talk me down said it was a great price from what he’s been seeing . Called the others and a few said that was a great deal . I’m on a few atv forums and guys are complaining about dealers not budging a dollar from msrp.
  20. Power pistol is a pretty good powder , I’ve not used it in my 357 or 44 but it works fantastic in the wife’s 380 and my 10mm. I’m very close to being out of it so a few months ago I found and picked up some Ramshot silhouette. If I like it and when / if powder comes back into stock I might try their enforcer powder for my 357 / 44 mags. I do have a good stock of 2400 though, but hey gotta get it when you see it .
  21. First one that can come up with the cash buys it.
  22. Oh the off season on hunting ny, almost as much fun as live from the woods..
  23. To me that’s B/S your paying for the truck you should get exactly what you want .
  24. Or do what I did and buy a truck with the rubber floor, carpet does not belong in a truck..
