I just switched to the Magnus ser razors for myself , son and wife. I had zero problems getting them to tune and fly with field points, the photos guys were posting of the damage they leave and the Magnus warranty made it a easy choice for myself. I ran some numbers on my pinwheel arrow app and I think your going to struggle to find a arrow that’s 600 grains for your set up. Just a couple of heavy arrows I ran. A gold tip kinetic 340 spine with a 100 grain brass insert / 125 grain head that falls right on the optimum spine for your set up, gives you a 537 grain arrow. A Easton aluminum 2216 xx75 with 125 grain head will give you 538 grains with being just a hair stiff.

You would be way better off going to Pennsylvania, they had a record bear take this year. PA expanded their special firearms muzzleloader and archery bear season .

I killed a pile of deer with my 870, before I switched to revolvers. I have thought about taking it out a few times again though . I will say ny going to rifles definitely helped get kids and woman more involved with hunting. I know my wife did not like a 20 gauge, but can send 40 -50 rounds of her 7-08 down range no problem.

I don’t blame you , seriously thinking about taking the 44 to the range tomorrow to tryout the new Leupold. We did our Christmas over the weekend as my youngest is working the holiday .

Well that does suck, Vista outdoors owns Weaver , Bushnell etc . They actually own many outdoor brands . I would try and call again and talk to a manager and see if you can get a better warranty scope. If they won’t work with you, I would cut my losses and buy another scope from Burris , Leupold or Vortex . Nikon is getting out of scopes from what I’ve read, so you’d probably want to stear clear of them. Just think about all the guys that own nikons now and if they go bad, wonder what kind of nightmare they’ll have with warranties. Good luck and keep us up to date on what happens, your bad experience might save another guy down the road.

Before you buy the diamond bow, you really should shoot it as you may not like it. Being a lefty your not going to find much in the used market unfortunately. Definitely get your draw length checked and dont worry about what pound you’re pulling, start with what’s comfortable for you . Good luck and keep us posted on what you get and your progress .
