A happy birthday to your Mrs, from me and mine! Looks like a great place to check out, next time we come out that way! Prayers sent.

Slice thin, pan fry quickly with some butter and onions. Put on a hard roll for hot pork sammie's! Garnish with lettuce, tomatoes, or whatever you like.

The line is always blurred, when upstate is lumped in with NYC. Like trying to put a round peg in a square hole. Vastly different needs and wants. Though I sympathise with NYC and the tragedy of COVID-19 ravaging the population there. It is vastly different in numbers outside of there. Even in Albany. We need to start thinking of fighting the next battle. Getting people back to work. And a somewhat different way of life again.

Actions Speak Louder Than Words!!!!! Nope, Trump is not always politically correct. He is not the best speaker. He is not modest in the least. He can be difficult to work with. His ego is "HUGE". Look in your history books. Many of the founding fathers of this country, that signed the Declaration Of Independence, were talked about simarlily. I would rather someone talk to me straight up, and not poo-poo me, with gobblety-gook. He does that. When was the last time a rich man, cared so much for the working man? And realizes it is the working man/woman, that keeps Him in business, as well as America's economy! He has been fought, ridiculed, and impeached, by his many detractors, and mainstream media. But still stands strong for what he believes to be best for this country. Many weaker people, would have thrown in the towel by now. He has done more in one term, even with all the opposition against him, than any modern day President! He is my president!!! He is a patriot. I will follow him to hell if need be! Trump 2020

This is going to be a lifetime keepsake rod! Absolutely beautiful so far. If you don't mind me asking......how much would it cost to have you make a similar one, for a person outside the family?

So far....... Warm dry winter. Cold wet spring. Got grass high enough to cut. But would sink the mower trying to do it. Got more snow on the way tomorrow night, after the dusting last night.

You Must Wear a Mask in public starting Friday
grampy replied to CharlieNY's topic in General Chit Chat
What's the best call for a frozen turkey Bill? I don't like being told what to do. But....I don't want to take the chance of infecting anyone else. So I'll wear the mask. -

With this mug, I scare less people, and look better wearing a mask! -
I'll vouch for wooly too! Haven't heard from him in awhile. Hope he's ok?

Among other things. I'm really missing baseball.

If not for my Doc's.......I'd be pushing up daisies. And would have been doing so years ago, in my 50s. Sometimes ya gotta trust, and go with the flow.

Remington 870 LW 20ga Package 2 Barrel
grampy replied to Lawdwaz's topic in Hunting Items For Sale and Trade
A beautiful tried and true package here! Good to go for deer, turkey, small game, and wing shooting. All at a very good price, for a piece that will last any hunter a lifetime. I'd jump on this, if I weren't already overstocked with shotguns. GLWS ! -
NY to Allow online Hunter education
grampy replied to Culvercreek hunt club's topic in General Chit Chat
Yes sir, you would be right. My point is, being this is NYS, I can easily see where it will eventually cost $100 to take the course. Money that will be split between the conservation fund, and the general fund. But perhaps I'm getting ahead of things here? Most importantly, the new hunters wanting to turkey hunt this season, will have the opportunity. After that, we'll have to see where this goes? -
NY to Allow online Hunter education
grampy replied to Culvercreek hunt club's topic in General Chit Chat
It didn't cost anything to attend a hunter safety course. Now the state is charging $20 to take it. This is NYS! So you can see where the future of this is going. -

NY to Allow online Hunter education
grampy replied to Culvercreek hunt club's topic in General Chit Chat
There are always some of these in every class I've been a part of as an instructor. They are the ones that benefit the most from the hands on instruction. And will be the ones who will be left to figure it out on their own, while afield. That said, being there are no classes scheduled. I don't want to see anyone that wants to hunt, be left out because they couldn't get a certification. Going totally online has been talked about in DEC for some time now. As it is being done in some other states, quite successfully. Makes no difference to me personally. I just volunteered my time, as there was a need for more instructors. My only motivation was, to help new hunters. I will always be open to be a mentor to a new, or young hunter. Just as I was before becoming an instructor. The circle will not be broken by me. As no course, online or otherwise, will ever take the place of a good mentor. I'll leave this with the words I said to every student as they received their certification. Said with a smile and a high five..... Keep Safe! Shoot Straight! -
I shed ten pounds. Not stopping for my morning egg sammy and coffee at Redy's Deli. And no lunch at work. Ordering out very little. Cut snacks down to almost nothing but trail mix. Still working, but only three days a week. So saving on gas and food. Not traveling to any of my grandson's ball games. Conserving ammo, instead of going to the range once a week like I was before this all started. Haven't taken a ride out to Utica to shed greenbacks in Bass Pro!

Last 37 years in the printing industry. Prepress, bindery, pressman, design and layout. Last 16 years in charge of the graphic arts department, in a public school district. Started a school to work program, for special education students, in our district about 10 years ago. That has been my most rewarding accomplishment.

To me, and most native americans, the owl is a spirit bird. Great that you gave him\her a chance.
