  1. Great accomplishment at such a young age! The sky is the limit. Hope to see her flying amongst the stars.
  2. My buddy and a couple guys at work thanked me for getting a new snowblower! Said now we won't get any more snow? I hope they are right. But more than prepared now, if they are wrong. I finished chopping the last of the ice here today too.
  3. Runs good! Just upgraded to an Ariens. $150 local pick up. I'm in Rotterdam.
  4. Congratulations Brian! That house looks awesome! Is there a guest room for hunting buddies???... Wishing you and your family, a lifetime of happiness and laughter there. That Talon is sweet! Bring that baby east! Let me take a ride. We got lots of trails!
  5. Kids are not wearing masks before or after school. They are not wearing them while hanging out with friends or at sleep overs and such. They now don't need to wear one while going to the mall, or dining out with their family. The social setbacks, and developmental issues to kids, from masks at school, has been well documented. The masks are doing nothing to stop the spread of Covid at school. Unmask the kids, and start getting back to whatever passes for normal these days.
  6. As bad as gas prices are now, by Memorial Day they will be MUCH higher!!
  7. My deepest condolences to you and your family. May God's light shine upon you all.
  8. I think it's fantastic that your daughter stands up for her beliefs. It has been two years! Unmask our kids now!!!
  9. My hunting partner put a Boyd's laminated stock on a Savage Axis and it looks awesome! Even made the rifle a bit more accurate. I've seen the TC ones too. they are hard to come by, but are super nice! Hope you find one!
  10. After reading the title, I was thinking........just throw in beer and what a night! That middle school should be taking a better look at their curriculum.
  11. Boyd's may make a laminated stock for TC guns???
  12. So very sorry to hear this. I will continue to pray for Mike. Also for you and your family.
  13. I;ve never named any of my boats. But if I did it would be........."Smells Fishy".
  14. Nice! Way to go! The ones I catch only have one's strapped to em!!!
  15. A day I'll never forget!!! My day ended much better than the dirtbags did!!! Sometimes the karma works out perfectly!!
  16. Have had stands stolen Have had cameras stolen. This past season even had a dirtbag sitting in one of our stands and proceeded to tell me to get F'n lost! No end to the enjoyment of dealing with dirtbags!!!
  17. Got plenty of space for riding, and you are ALWAYS welcome!
  18. New Toy??? You going BIG on the food plots this year???
  19. Where we found first blood on the right. Where we found the buck laying under the tree. About 20 yards or so in the real of the hunt. Yes. We do have a little seng growing in the area.
  20. The tires are from old hay wagons and such. Put there decades ago by my partners father when he was running the farm. Thank you all very much for the nice comments!!! I am so proud of the mount. It now means more to me than any other I have. Being it was hand made by my lifelong friend. So much time and thought went into it. We rode the same school bus together. Have hunted together all these years, and have not ever once argued over a deer! We encourage each other, and share in all the up's and downs of hunting, and life. We are truly like blood brothers. I'm so fortunate, and blessed, to continue to share a friendship with such an awesome guy. If any local guys want to have a euro done next year, let me know? Will be able to do dips and custom work too.
  21. My lifelong friend and hunting partner called me this morning. Said he needed a hand with something. As always, I told him I'd be right up. When I got there, he said come in for a minute. When I got inside, he gave me this!!! It's my buck from last hunting season, done up with wood from the farm. And the scene replicates the spot where I shot him exactly!!!! I was totally blown away! The pictures just don't show the detail. Down to the epoxy that looks like wet ground. Even the old tires are there! His wife told me he's been working on it for weeks. I knew he did the euro, but had no idea about the rest. He said he wants to start doing euros for people next year. And wanted to try something different. I think he got it right! The buck itself was very unique. Never got one quite like it before. But with the way it's done now, it is by far my favorite! I am so fortunate to be blessed with a friend like Gary. He got this buck out, and hung, skinned, gutted, and cut up for me. As I was going through a serious medical issue at the time. I was not even supposed to be out hunting! So this means so much to me. He even hand made me a picture frame to go with it!
  22. I got a new phone in December. Had some issues like you are having now at first. I signed back in using Google Chrome. That seemed to clear up my issues. Still weird how I come to this forum though. Have to go through GC each time I come here. Once I go to GC, I see this site pop up, then I click on it to get here. Most everything else, I had my grandson do for me to set up. Being this new phone is a 5G it took some getting used to from my last 7 year old 2G phone.
  23. Buckwheat/sorghum never did much for us either, as a summer crop. Deer would always find a more preferred food sourse close by. Try an oats clover mix instead. Deer seem to like this much better. During summer, cut it every few weeks to about four inches. Come late summer, let it grow out. It will stay green well throughout the deer season. It will also grow in hard rocky soil.
