  1. Mike's Crab Shack! I eat till I'm about to burst there when we stay in Wells. Then go to the beach and try to walk it off...... Freeport is nice too!
  2. Hope you get by with mild symptoms, and feel better soon Tacks.
  3. Close to a foot or so up here.
  4. In the future, I'll leave the the prognostications to Biz-R-OWorld!
  5. I've never used a skirt on any of our ladderstands. I don't see where it would hurt though. Especially if it's set in an open area, or on a bare tree. We try to set ours in hemlock, or evergreen trees when possible. To give a good backdrop, and to hide a bit better.
  6. Nice catch! Video was cool too! Way to go!
  7. Place looks awesome! Wishing you and your family, a lifetime of happy memories there! Hope to come out and meet ya one of these days!
  8. Great news Larry! What a great opportunity!!! Good luck!!! Keep us posted, and take lots of pictures!
  9. Chief's need to get by Pig Ben and the Steelers today to host the Bill's. I don't think it will be the double digit blowout that is being predicted. And could go either way. But my predictions are not on par with Biz's.
  10. Patsies look cold. Allen is hot! Love seeing NE lose! Go Bill's!
  11. I'll go out and freeze for a deer. Not for a football game. Have fun to any and all at the game! Go Bills!
  12. Air temp 14 below zero at the farm this morning. A bit nippy out.
  13. Pigs in a blanket, home cooked wings with a variety of flavors, chili, pizza, the normal stuff. Mostly for the SB. But playoff games sometimes too. Being a Panthers fan, I haven't had much to get excited about since 2015. But will be cheering for the Bills this weekend! I can't stand any Boston team!!!
  14. I too will follow your results Brian!!! Have perfect distance vision. But anything close for reading or working is kinda fuzzy.
  15. Don't bet against Bill's during playoffs, with temps near zero. They are on a streak with those conditions.
  16. Thank you all for the kind thoughts. Appreciated more than words can say.
  17. Does he sell reloading supplies too? Thanks for the heads up. Will see if I can get over that way this weekend.
  18. My beautiful bride had some outpatient surgery this morning. Doc said all went fine, and she's going to be ok. It's been a long road since her breast cancer surgery last summer. Breaks my heart when I see her in pain. But I have her resting comfortably here at home now. So all is good! God heard my prayers.
  19. Great looking group, and GTG guys!!! Hope to catch you all at a GTG during 22!!!
  20. You will soon be addicted! But that's a good thing! The more I do it, the more I love it! Quite the thrill to see a whitetail drop in his tracks, from a round you made up yourself! I spent about a year, gathering up odds and ends, after picking up my press from a forum member. Sounds like you have a good jump on the basics! I also, during that year read anything I could get my hands on about reloading. Along with 3 or 4 different manuals from the likes of Hornady, Nosler, Federal, and Remington. The help and advice I got from the guys here was invaluable!!! I have a thread that started from the beginning to loading my first rounds that may help you? We are all here, and eager to help you get going too. Guys with a ton more experience than I have, will be checking in. Have fun and good luck!!!
  21. Don, sending prayers and get well wishes to you and your family.
  22. The sponsors of this 'Bill', likely wouldn't know the difference between a lynx and a bobcat, or even a Mt lion, if it bit em in the azz.
  23. Any rifle that pleases the shooters eye, makes small groups, cycles smoothly, balances well, is a fine rifle to that shooter.
