Nice pic's! Definitely ramps up the anticipation factor a notch or two! Best of luck to you buddy!

Why should she be upset? Unless that's her handwriting! ...........smile.

Given the choice, (and I never have), I'd take a big typical over a big nontypical. But if someday a big knarly racked buck saunteres by and gives me a good shot, Yup, I'm taking it!

Saw something like this on the news earlier this week. The cops were highly discouraging this type of prank. I say, good on you TF!

I've read "It", three times! Steven King is one of my favorite authors. Always wanted to meet him, to ask where the heck he thinks up stuff up from! Looking forward to seeing the new movie.

Oh, she had a firm grip alright! If my memory serves me right, she was firm all over! ..........Gotta stop hanging around with Pygmy.......grin.

I just pee wherever. Even write my name in the snow too. Got in trouble doing that when I was a young buck. Local farmer saw it, in his daughter's handwriting! .......grin.

Great tip! Worth a try! Thanks for posting!

Getting em on cam and getting em on the ground are two entirely different things. But, it's nice to know that a decent buck or two are in the area!

I won't be going. With the bucks I shoot, they would all point and laugh as I walked in.

That kind of $$$$ will buy a nice chunk of property in Iowa, or any number of big whitetail states! Hmmmm, what would I do if I had a cool 1.2 million burning a hole in my pocket??? Don't think it would be spent to hunt Old Chatham. Not that I think that is a bad place at all. Just sayin.- 54 replies

Have relatives in St. Pete, St. Augustine, Orlando and Sarasota. All are getting ready and making preparations. Even for folks who have seen their share of hurricanes, this one is big, and has people worried. My wife's uncle lives just outside Huston and they are having a tough time after Harvey. Prayers and good thoughts, to all who have or will be affected. Six years ago, we lost our home in Berne to flooding from Irene. I know first hand how heart wrenching it can be.

Crossbows are louder than bows, no getting around that. It is just an excepted fact. But different crossbows are quieter than others. My Centerpoint Sniper is much quieter than my Barnett Raptor. If you have split limbs, perhaps the Limbsaver in between the limbs will deaden the noise a little bit.
