They run all the cable or rope off the winch then take one of those flat tow straps and wrap it around the winch drum 3 or 4 times then use the hook end on the plow. Something like pictured below except with a tow strap not a ratchet strap. Could use one of those boat winch straps if you you wanted. Basically the tow strap acts as the consumable instead of your winch rope or cable. The AmSteel is super strong and abrasion resistant but it will eventually start to fray similar to a cable. I would rather tear up cheap $10 tow strap than my cable or rope.

I have talked to few guys that plow with an ATV or UTV and take off their ropes or cables and wrap a tow strap around it for the winter. That was my plan for next season just need to find something to wrap my cable onto.

Haha that isn't even a blip for them, and they will "urge members". You know much of a pain it is to re-finance and if there are lower rates out there? I highly doubt out of those 20,000 they all will bet next to none will.

This works but an interlock for an updated panel is easier and much cheaper. Basically with an interlock it forces the homeowner to shut off the main breaker then allows you to backfeed through a double pole single throw breaker. You can pick and choose which circuits you want on based on the configuration of your breaker panel. If you want the easy route you can just run extension cords to your appliances.

@wolc123 I agree, I have the cheap porter cables and although they work I hate how fast they die. I abuse them and get about 2 or 3 years out of the tools themselves at that point I just toss the whole tool and batteries. I have some older 18V ni-cad porter cables that won't seem to die but get a lot less use. I would recommend the rigid, or milwaukee drill driver sets. The Dewalts have become junk we use them here at work for light use woodworking and the Hitachi drill driver sets last longer and are half the price.

Are you handy? I would buy a 5.5k watt or somewhere around that and buy one of those fuel conversion "tri-fuel" kits that allow you to run it on natural gas, propane, or gasoline. They are about $200 on ebay and quality kits (link below). All you would need to do is find the kit that fits the generator you're planning on buying. I am going to be purchasing one for my house. As of right now I don't have natural gas but according to the town it in in the works in the next 5 years, about 1/2 mile down the road is natural gas. I currently have gas stove and fuel oil furnace so I will be running a propane line for the generator. One thing I would look into is a power/line conditioner to allow you to run sensitive electronics. The line conditioner listed would be good enough for a wireless router, Large flat screen TV, cable modem and DVR. You aint kidding, I would even say a little addicting. I started with 30-06 with my grandfather when I was 13. Now I have my own gear and tools and keep adding more calibers. I think I'm up to around 7 or 8 different calibers. I do all my pistols, and rifles. I originally did it to save money now I'm doing it for accuracy I like experimenting with different loads and bullets to find what works best out of my guns. Here is some starting advice: If you plan on reloading for multiple guns but same caliber keep the brass separate for each gun. Each chamber is different and once fired in a particular gun the brass is "fire formed" to that caliber. Start small, start with the lowest amount of powder and work up. Some guns have tighter chambers and will show over pressure signs before max load has been reached. If you use mag primers in non mag primer loads work off lowest weight and take off 1 grain of powder 2 grains if you want to be really safe then work up from there. Be Careful! My son was helping me one day and mixed a couple 95 grain bullets into my 85 and I didn't notice. I loaded them up with the 85gr. load I previously used. I shot them without incident but definitely was over pressure.

Here is another idea, you want people to get to the poll and vote out Cuomo add it to the ballet I bet a lot more gun owners show up to the polls then. Just an idea.

Great shooting! How old is she? My 3 year old keeps telling me he wants a bow. Not sure if he would even get close to a target as he doesn't really understand what I am trying to tell him about the scope on the gun. I figured 5 would be a good age to start him on the bow and gun.

I have been doing tons of research, 2 things to look at are the specs, and dealer location. Nothing against any tractor brands from what I could find is that LS tractors are rated the highest in terms of lifting and bucket capacity. They lack in HP compared to other brands depending on the model. From what I have found LS and Kioti were the closest then JD and Yan-Mar and last Kubota all in terms of published numbers. LS and TYM make the majority of tractors on the market that are under 50 hp. They are just all designed a little different. I think JD makes all their own tractors but not entirely sure. I'll add I have been comparing 25hp tractors the Kioti CK2510 and the LS XG3025 both 25hp machines but the LS is a little bigger size wise and is a little more capable (lift more at the 3 point and loader and a little heavier)

Personally never shot one handled a couple but didn't think they were anything special. Depending on what he is asking for it ($300 without glass $350 with glass) it wouldn't be bad. The glass is a low end bushnell so it isn't really worth a lot used maybe $40 or $50. The rifle middle of the road I would put it somewhere around the ruger american, lower end savage.

I thought it was just $1000 fine not per day. I'll have to try and find it again. Not sure how a town law could supercede the state, maybe we need to contact our mayors instead of congressmen to have them sign laws into effect that allow us to have semi automatic rifles with any feature.

I saw an article about it that cited the actual law I will see if I can find it. But the thing is, there is nothing in the law saying that police will confiscate the gun. So that means you can keep it and be charged with a fine. After being tried for a crime you can not be tried for the same crime. So it is basically a $1000 registration fee for an "assault weapon". In reality if you have a 10 rnd. fixed mag they can't do crap according to that law. It reads "more than 10" not 10 or more.

You're looking at a 5% differentiation between the 2 years of overall deer take not that big of deal when talking overall numbers, my guess weather played a big role. With a 25% increase in crossbow harvests it will only be going higher. They had the same number increase in PA when they did full inclusion. The number of hunters that picked up a crossbow to hunt during archery season was huge when they used to compare the bow take to the crossbow take and NY will be the same. Number of hunters increased, along with number of archery harvests. It isn't some big secret crossbows in bow season will bring out more people, more people more pressure less deer seen. More pissed off hunters, more trespassers all seasons long, more stolen equipment. Can't wait to have more headaches and screwed up hunts. It's great to see so many wanting full inclusion. Can't wait for the degenerates to come out of the woodwork. I don't think all crossbow or gun hunters are degenerates but in our area it is a non stop battle all year long but even worse during big game hunting seasons. Bow season is the one season I don't have to police my property except the last 2 weeks of bow it is bad then gun is horrible. FWIW all the trespassers I have kicked off in the last 2 weeks of bow season have been crossbow hunters. Last year we had 5 on game cam and kicked 2 off, both said they shot a deer and were tracking it with no blood.

Thanks, it is actually luxury vinyl plank. Really easy to work with, score and snap. I used my flooring saw around the edges. I ran it under the tub enclosure just a little so I didn't have to put trim across the bottom. It looks nice for vinyl flooring and is waterproof which is a plus for a bathroom. This was actually some cheap stuff from grossman's bargain outlet we wanted to try it first to see if we liked it before commiting to something that was $4 sq.ft. or more. The framing pictures show the great room upstairs, the copper manifold is for all the water lines I'm running for the house 3 baths with a few extras, the sideways pictures show the downstairs living room. The ceiling is getting all shiplap whitewashed for the great room and the entire downstairs. The 2nd story floor was built 19" on center so unless I put up some sort of purlins it will also be all shiplap whitewash. Should look nice all said and done, BTW I broke ground last April and worked on it all summer and most of hunting season. The stipulation with the wife was no hunting until the 2nd story was done (drywall, painted and with flooring) well they were finished 2nd week of bow.

Thanks, make sure and pre drill holes into the antlers. The antlers are super hard but brittle so if you don't pre drill you will snap off screws and possibly crack the antler. These were smaller so I had to be careful where I drilled so it didn't crack above the burr.

Another quick project that we needed, antler coat rack. Figured I would use some of my smaller racks from my father, FIL and myself from previous years. My FIL was just going to throw them out when he was moving so I grabbed them to make different projects.
