Like I said, I'm not out to impress anyone. I gave that up after high school. Besides, don't you hunt by hiding in a pop up blind? What's the diff?
-
Lol, I'm going to assume my phone isn't picking up the sarcasm font.
-
I'm not out to impress you or anyone else, bud. But I think you're way off the mark to say if I hunt from a ladder stand on public or even private, open land., it's the same as if I was high fence hunting. Is that what you're really inferring?
-
Biz, you're being sarcastic here, right?

It's been a while since we had a Mountain Lion thread

Lol! I had to google that. And I'm now convinced that absolutely everything is on the web! -

I haven't been to the Legion in a while. Is it still a good place for random cougar sightings inside? -

I was thinking it looked like our pet cat. Must be a lack of news over there or maybe something in the water. There's a couple of links at the bottom of the page of a trailcam shot of a girl walking and right away they called it a ghost. -
Unlimited Hunting on the "REALLY" cheap!

It's not like I go through a lot of "ammo", but it vacuums up nicely along with the target.. -

I've got that same one! Bought it last year and it's my go-to device when I'm stalking my living room for spiders! -
I'm still wondering how Tannerite itself is legal in NY. It's fun, so I figured it can't possibly be allowed here.

Southern opener, just wanted to say good bye

You may want to watch what you post on an open forum. I've been told by law enforcement that's it's quite illegal to "finish off" an injured deer. I'm not saying that I wouldn't feel compelled to end its misery. Don't shoot the messenger! -
Culvercreek hunt club has a birthday !

Happy Birthday Culver! -
Why does the US have to write a check? What about the European countries, don't they have checkbooks? How about NATO countries that are skipping out on their financial agreements? They must have positive checking balances by now. We don't have deep pockets, we just have record debt and don't need any more. My Momma taught me to get my house in order first.

I'm all for protecting and improving the environment, but why does the USA have to pay big money (from the United States taxpayers) while other polluting nations (China and India) get a pass and can actually increase their emissions for a few more years? Sounds like a bad deal. I heard an analogy the other day that hit the nail on the head. The rest of the countries just realized that the guy that was going to pick up the check just left the restaurant. Now they're upset that they have to pay the tab.

Happy Birthday!

Looks great Wooly! Hope you feel better soon!

I tried the Browning cam and didn't think it was any better than my Covert MP8 and MP6's. Although the night pics were less blurry on the Browning. I've got some Coverts that are on their fourth year and haven't been taken out of the woods since the day I bought them. 6 months or more of battery life, and I've yet to have one fail. Makes me sick when I think of the money I spent on Wildgame or Wildview products a few years back. I'm going to add a couple more Covert MP8's this year.

Great shots as always Wooly!

Sorry for your loss Grampy.

I don't think you'll have any "zoning" type problems unless you're residential. But I'm no expert on that. But don't underestimate the towns ability to get detailed info via aerial methods. My county has little money, but contracts to get imagery. If I build something, they know about it pretty quickly.

LOL - good one!
