    Went on a preserve hunt for birds last week, took the carcasses and put them out for my friendly neighbor the fox. Trying to get it to stick around and eat all the rabbits that raid my garden... Watched her circle the pile for 10 minutes at 6:30pm... Then it left... came back at 8:30pm and methodically took all of them but never was "OK" with the camera glow.. The surprise is the buck and doe that came in to check the left overs at the pile... Thinking I have a guard fox for the garden this year... LOL buck.AVI fox.AVI fox1.AVI deer.AVI

    LOVE GSP's!!!! Hunting tomorrow with a buddy's pair of them.. 1 is the black coloring, the other is the standard liver color... Both are amazing!!! I'll post pics.. Good luck with them!!!

    To be honest.. should have just gone to a 1 buck per year rule... Like Ohio.... You shoot a spike, you are done shooting bucks.. Not sure I believe you should be told what to shoot but then again, they tell you how big a fish you can keep based on length... so we are already living that life... Either way, no one will stop hunting over this... no matter how loudly we whine..

    Trust me... I called the state... They were helpful... NOT... The following Spring I had a run in with him eye to eye... Thankfully he thought my nickname was relevant and he chose to walk away from me as I "escorted" him off my property... Wife was not pleased and it wasn't my brightest moment, thinking back now.. He was popping his jaws at me the entire time he was walking away... Again.. not my brightest moment..

    Anyone run trail cameras for scouting turkeys??? I run them in plot watcher mode... works pretty well especially seeing I am an out of stater and have to drive 2 hours to the place I hunt,... Get more info this way...

    The 3 rules of drinking bourbon... 1.) Never spend more than $50.00 on a bottle.. 2.) Never drink it neat. always add water or ice, even a mixer.. it opens up the full potential of it.. 3.) Other than the above, Never tell someone how to drink their bourbon..

    To be honest, they tell you to at least add ice, a little water releases more flavor and aroma from the bourbon... Some of my favorites are, in no particular order, Eagle Rare, Angel Envy, Clyde Mays 10 year old & Buffalo Trace...

    Exactly.... a lot of people think it's like turkeys... 1 buck can breed a lot of does... 1 buck can breed about 6 -7 does a year tops.... After that, any bred will deliver their fawns to late to survive... hence doe to buck ratio's over that # is not beneficial...
