Dan, just wanted to let you know that Sue and I left town early. I have had some medical issues, and need to get checked out. Sorry, but won't be able to hook up for a Frans dinner. Give my regards to the mermaid. Maintain with dignity!
Welcome. My wife and I just left Florida after living there since 1976!!! We also just left for home (north Georgia mountains) as I developed some health issues that need attending to. Had to forgo rifle season (with a doe tag no less). I would have gladly invited you up to our place in 8T, and shown you around. Perhaps next year if I'm not worm food? PM if you want to talk. I was born in Corning, and have hunted the area for 52 years! BTW, steer clear of Pygmy. He's an animal! LOL
Thanks all. Just came out of woods and logged on! Dan, we already made it to Fran’s once. I have been feeling poorly so we will have to see how long we are up for. Will let you know.
Just returned from our cabin and scouting trip. I’ve never seen it so wet. Water running everywhere. Did see 7 deer... two bucks (not shooters) harassing a doe.
Try pre-baiting the traps. Put out baited traps... UNSET. You may have to re-bait a few times but , eventually, the critter will lose his fear, and keep eating the bait. Then, set the trap for the catch.
Oftentimes, the solvents or inert ingredients in the pesticide mixtures smell worse than the actual active ingredients. Most are derivatives from petroleum based substances. Try experimenting with different brands.
