I love wool! My go to warm coat is a Beaglewear (they are out of business though). -
Congrats. I too love SS rifles. If I was told tomorrow that all hunting can only be with SS weapons, I'd be fine with that.

I've been known to bring reading material to pass the time. Also, have your cell phone (or other contact device) handy for emergency use. BTW, loved the above tip about a "grappling" hook. I have been known to drop gloves etc. from time to time.

Note the three critical words in the beginning... Democratic State Legislature. Bingo. Kookyfornia is a lost cause. NYS may be not far behind. It's a pity because NYS is a beautiful place. -

Sounds like a viable solution... unless you are on State land (or private land for that matter) where no screw in attachments are permitted in live trees. I've used a pipe for this before and it worked just fine. Good luck... and stay safe.

I tried some a bit ago. Worked ok for the intended purpose. Your gun may (or may not) like them. Give 'em a try. What do you have to lose?
