We already decided not to use fertilizer this year due to the cost. We only plant for the animals so whatever happens happens at this point.

How much will the price of fuel affect your hunting now?
Moho81 replied to Grouse's topic in General Chit Chat
It will cost more I am sure but it won't stop me from doing something that brings joy to my life. I use way more gas going to and from work and that brings me the opposite of joy. -
Thanks again everyone! It was a good low key night with my family. My girls got me some thoughtful gifts and my in laws pitched in on a cheap electric smoker that I wanted so look for me over in the smoking thread. First up will be a smoked corned beef hopefully Saturday if not then Sunday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank guys, unfortunately I am at work today. I am causing trouble though so it's kinda like a birthday present to myself. It's going to be a low key night as well. Wings and a movie with the family at home. I'll stop and grab a couple of fancy beers on the way home to have with the wings.

NYS gettin' in the bud business . . .

LOL, I had a friend when I was younger that would hit the bowl before going to workout. Seemed so strange to me considering it's suppose to relax and mellow you out. -
Real world experience. I like it! Not that I’m buying an electric vehicle anytime soon but it’s never a bad thing to be educated especially when the manufacturer says you can do it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No where that I read (Tesla) mentioned it was for emergency use only. It’s not very practical though. 2-3 miles per hour on the charger. My round trip to and from work would need anywhere from 11-17 hours being charged that way. So pretty much it would always be on the charger when I’m home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You can literally plug them into a standard 110 outlet in your garage and let them charge overnight. The adaptor is included standard on Tesla vehicles. It’s a slow charge but it can be done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Simple solution. A diesel generator in the bed of the truck!

My UTV upgrades, damage prevention, safety.

Interesting, I'll have to look around. I was thinking in my head something like an etrack tie down system mounted to the floor of the trailer which I am assuming the one you mentioned is like but instead of front and back I was thinking left to right in order to be able to strap 2 wheels at a time. -

I'd like a wheel tie down system that's adjustable so I could easily go from ATV to SxS to Zero turn to garden tractor. I guess I just use my utility trailer for to many things. -
I am not against it. My day to day driving range would be fine. I wouldn't have to charge it every night maybe just twice a week depending. I think they are expecting the Ford Lighting to only be able to go 150-200 miles while towing the 10,000 max capacity so could even tow the wheeler to camp and back without a problem. What would really change is our camping trips. We tow our camper long distances a few times a year and the current infrastructure for recharging just isn't there yet in my opinion.

I blamed the second wall mount on the child. Can’t say no to the child. Worked perfectly! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Funny story. Years ago when I purchased my 13 Ford I’m sitting in the dealership filling out the paperwork and the salesmen was verifying all the info. He gets to the color and says green. My wife gets this really confused look on her face and whispers over to me, green? Aren’t you buying a black truck? Nope. It’s green. She was dumbfounded. Lol. It was that super dark green that could and did look black in the right light. I had so many friends after seeing it a few times all of a sudden ask if I got a different truck because now it’s green! Last week we killed time by shopping. We need to find something better. This week we might divide and conquer but then that’s both vehicles driving 20 min there and back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Both of my girls are playing house softball this year. 12u and 8u. Indoor practices already started last week but it’s just once a week, on a Saturday evening. 4-5 for 8u then 6-7 for 12u Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Almost 24 hours later and no real picture of the new rig yet? For shame!

My wife has her appointment for finger prints on Friday. She took the class in the summer of 2020 when putting in new applications was even more of a hassle because of COVID and the county office was essentially shut down. I told her this year the only thing I want for my birthday is for her to turn in her application. She will never carry and will only shoot once or twice a year for fun but I'd rather have her have her permit and have my pistols on her permit as long as they are going to be in the house anyways.

Valid point. I wouldn't want to make it a very light trigger but lighter than the 9.5-12 pound pull it's at now depending on what gun review you want to believe. It's also a very long pull which took some getting use to.
